Livi weren't even playing well before we scored and were all over us possession and territory wise. We were just smashing long balls up the pitch that were just immediately coming back to us.
The long balls at White are pointless as despite his height they're usually 10 yards over his head or 10 yards to the side and while he will run, he doesn't have the pace to properly close down defenders giving them a simple ball out. Murray/Stones/Samuel do have the pace to do that.
This is Loturi. You're never quite sure what he's going to do from minute to minute. There's enough been shown so far that I think he's worth persisting with.
No playing/subbing Dhanda off early so many times this season should be a sackable offence. He and Loturi are the only two midfielders we have who can play a pass and Dhanda is far better at it.
This is like watching the end of McIntyre's time or the end of Kett's time- aimlessly long balls blasted either twenty yards over the heads of our strikers or about 20 yards the wrong side of them. Too afraid to give anything to our midfield.
Agreed on Loturi. There is a quality player there, but he can be so wildly inconsistent in what he does, can play a classy ball or just punt it out of the park. I also like how he turns with the ball, it's very smooth.
Of all the home ties we could get, usually Livi would be the hardest. They've a habit of utterly outworking us and taking points time and time again. They're no in good form and have nothing to play for, so either we could win 3-0 or the pressure is off them and they win 1-4.
