  1. If I could change the things I've done Would I be the only one To wish again, if only I could take your pain away And think of better, better things to say The highest price I'd gladly pay For you to live, just golden days, golden days, golden days So celebrate the moment now, have all that you desire
  2. It's that time of year again. First day up at Cadwell Park with the resurrected CB500 and my Triumph 675. A couple of sessions on the 675 but I just couldn't get going with it so wheeled the little CB out the van. After a couple of teething problems which you'll always get post rebuild, I soon settled down on it. There's a way to go. A couple of blisters on my hands indicating I'm not relaxing and gripping the bars too tightly (easy kenneth) But it was an enjoyable afternoon in what could be described as weather as good as could be expected at Cadwell this time of year. The plan to race the 675 in the Military Championship is on the back burner right now. I'm in no shape to just be jumping on that thing. I'll stick with the little shopper My entry is in for Snetterton 23/24 March. A return to the scene of the smash up last year. There may be an option to go practice again at Cadwell on Sunday. I've one eye on the weather and will book nearer the time. Other than that I'm looking forward to competing again. Last year was a disaster. I never recovered from that crash at the first round. Plan is to just ease in, finish races and get through the first round and go from there. Bring it on.
  3. Kings Lynn Town 3-1 South Shields Att 841 Best I've seen the Linnets play this season. Compact and compressing play well when not in possession and carrying some threat forward. Stephens and Margetts pounced on an error by the goalkeeper giving Margetts a tap in. A break up the park midway through the first half saw Margetts again on the scoresheet with a great half volley finish from the edge of the box. With the second half barely underway Lynn were caught by a long ball and it's 2-1. With Lynn edging the second half, South Shields did have opportunities which were wasted. Then at the death, sub Castro strokes a fine curling finish from 18 yards low in off the keepers right post, sending the crowd home happy. Coulson an absolute rock at center half for the Linnets but wee Cam Hargreaves bossed the middle of the park for me today. My man of the match. Big, big, win for the Linnets.
  4. Back at The Walks today. Kings Lynn Town v South Shields. A point midweek away at Alfreton was decent. A win today would be massive.
  5. Is this the bit now where we sit in, getting deeper and deeper, surrendering possession time after time until they inevitably score?
  6. Kings Lynn Town 0-0 Farsley Celtic Att 884 A point lifts the Linnets out of the relegation zone. They finished the stronger but a draw the fair result.
  7. Just arrived at The Walks. Kings Lynn Town v Farsley Celtic. Lovely day for it. Lynn on the back of two wins in a row for the first time this season. Can they clime from the relegation zone??
  8. Welsh Open. It's been on BBC Wales and the red button all week. Until half 4 this afternoon anyway I beg to differ
  9. Final Score is on every BBC channel going so there is no need to cut from the snooker on the red button.......... to Final fucking Score
  10. Fuckin annoying though would you not say............
  11. Or maybe we were shite for him? Fair play to 'Well, how much difference would those goals make or have made for us right now? Like you say though. It's done. @Widge makes a good point. Some players just 'work' don't they.
  12. That is depressing. Time after time he's altered the set up in an attempt to 'hold on to what we have' with players not capable of doing that. Inviting teams to press on to us until the inevitable happens Fair fucks to you lot going watching every week. I'm no afforded that luxury whilst based down here. Maybe a good thing
  13. No really. One of brand bigots 'winning' every season makes it pretty much irrelevant whether its won tomorrow, next month or on the final day.
  14. Red. Every day off the week. Why even debate it? Oh of course That's why.
  15. Kenny Miller takes umbrage at none of the 'old guard' getting the gig, for now.
  16. Trump 10-5. Si a bit naive at times. Poor shot selection and an absolute sitter of a red in frame 10 I think cost him dearly.
  17. Can't see past Trump for this one today
