Of course it is disappointing it was missed, unacceptable Is way over the top. As the business owner of Citrus who sponsor this service I have had discussions with the club to look at ways try and help the relatively inexperienced team improve the service. At the Kelty game someone who has experience of working with a clubs TV station (who have played Champions League football) was observing how everything has done. He is in the process of writing his report with his recommendations. Hopefully the full game re-runs will help generate revenue to reinvest in better kit. One thing is for sure the issues we have are certainly not through lack of effort to get it right. Hopefully we will all see improvements coming through. Cut the guys some slack.
Can help you with that, just pay a camera person a match fee, stop over complicating it with audio coverage in the first season. Keep it simple stupid.
it was a tribute to Alex Rae though was it not on Saturday.

It won't be 4k for sure. Not sure my laptop can reliably encode 4k without thermal throttling - my desktop can but it's harder to carry around. Besides 4k capture devices is expensive and there's a lot more fun equipment for HD I'd rather have. Anyway...
We used their system for about 6 months and one of the problems I felt was the punitive cost of higher bitrates. Fairly sure they were running about 2000 kbps bit rate. See youtube's recommended bitrate below but the bottom line and I've heard this from Dunfermline's fans is that it runs with blocky video because it's not been encoded with enough information to show you details. Also the CMS he uses to log in etc is an absolute relic - I hated it.
We stream at the same bitrate as the BBC do now which is 5166kbps give or take. There's no extra cost for this better picture quality too. Your CEO said he was impressed when he watched our stream so I'm surprised he never asked about what we do. I think I'm paying slightly more than what Brian's setup costs him but I pay a lot less by not having to pay Brian's cut.
They’ve a desktop for home games with enough horsepower for 4K, certainly for high end 1080p. However I think they’ve some Bobby basics to sort. Shame really

Would like to think due diligence by the board would have looked into that aspect and the provider's business background in particular with the Fife rivalry.
If it turns out that by some roundabout link, funds end up at the Pars then rightly there will be hell to pay.
Can't see the board being that stupid if it has then heads will roll.
100 percent Run by the same person. Club not stupid enough to say it’s not and if they are the person saying it needs to consider standing down from the club. Was always going to look bad picking that supplier, even though Brian is a gent of guy he’s still pars tv. Am sure he’s on here, be good to hear from him (and not abuse him for being a fifer).
End of the day everyone just wants the club to do better and get promoted. Hopefully this will happen and the new guys doing the tv will have some special life long memories from it. I’ve got plenty from my time.
They’ve made a choice, good luck to them. Time will tell if it’s better or worse, be a shame with that new broadband line if we can’t get 4K at the home games

You’d not be long in hearing if the players want to stop. Suspect for most it’s a lifeline to normality and sanity.
and I’ve asked the question btw.

Am not giving anyone a hard time...
just wondered as a lot of people speaking for players who’re more than capable of speaking for themselves and ain’t shy when not happy

You on the committee by any chance Alan?
Have you asked all the EoSFL players how they feel on the matter?
If you were a player at this or any above level why would you want to play on a Saturday afternoon in front of naebody especially wi nae facilities when the whole country is being stopped from doing normal day to day things.
Have the leagues contacted clubs to find out how the players actually are feeling about playing?
Maybes then you could state players and teams want to play instead of abusing folk who have a different opinion to yourself without knowing the full facts.
Same questions to you ...

Part of the problem with teams like the ones in England. Is they think because they’re tested it does not affect them.
semi pro - turn up - temp check - train - go home
training centres in big clubs come in, have a chat, breakfast, train, watch video of last game, train east lunch.
not saying we won’t have had cases in Scotland we don’t know about but if I took celtic and the pics in the press as an example. Is like ah we’re in a bubble so can sit and have a beer by pool, no you get tested and need to follow the procedures. (Not having a go at celtic either just is a good visual example of what will be happening in the big English clubs)

Updated Scottish government guidance says those "involved in professional sports, for training, coaching or competing in an event" will be allowed to leave their homes.

If you read the guidance issued on Scot gov site. Pro sport continues. So on we go

League has an exemption so games will continue no reason to stop, scottish government already given green light when they brought out tier structure.
some areas moved to tier 2 and borders not far from tier one and fans.

Best team won today. No complaints.

Fans got in at Ross county - massive step forward.
wont be long now.
1 -
changing Rooms - check
showers - most of spfl can’t provide yet, will come though, sports Scotland say you can sfa not yet.
fans - at tier 1 - not there yet but tonight at Ross county a big step forward, now we need to push for that at tier 2
funding - by all accounts being worked on
covid not going any place any time soon, time to adapt.
2 -
Only if you draw a spl club, by that time prize money will be 40k be worth it then imo.

Write to your msp, only way to change this is to pressure them.
beyond belief, you can go to pub park swimming, stick cars but can’t stand distanced with 200 folk at a football ground.

Friendly required On 26th, needs to be within 25miles Falkirk, Home or away

The contingency plans bit is from the Lowland League statement.

I’d suggest if Bo’ness gets awarded the league they get promoted. They’ve been top most of the year.

The answer to Sjc is to do away south challenge and make it the sjc Would likely make it more attractive, invite all remaining juniors teams and sosl Eosl ll

What happened to the leagues in 1940?

Void season or finish it later and then go into next season with less of a break. Either way months away from having to deal with it.
More important things in life as many of us am afraid are about to find out
2 -
The league in its rules has to submit at candidate for promotion, I’d not have any objections with Bo’ness going up and the top two from conferences and just scrap a cup next year and relegate five.
0 -
Either void season or finish it in July start new one mid August and scrap a cup for a year.

I think we all just read why nobody can be bothered with sjfa unprofessional
0 -
Given the current Corana issues this won’t be the last time this happens, I think sjfa got it right, is only a game,
imagine they said no one of them then tests positive.
