  1. Hopefully this will work out ok - Fort sound like they could do with something to boost their squad, and ICT should benefit from players getting some decent experience. Be interesting to see what happens...
  2. I bet all the people who are paid monthly have not been paid for a number of weeks. Nothing to see here I reckon. Seriously though, Sevco fans must be worried - if the club is relying on an increase in ST to keep afloat, and they can't offer credit for people to but them, then they're kinda fucked...
  3. Is there still Admin Liquidation stuff going on here? I actually got bored of this some time ago, and reading through this thread is tedious (1 post in 100 seems to be on topic) I wonder if anyone could answer the following; Are sevco / rangers / whatever still in financial shit? Is there any chance they will go tits up again? The big tax case is being appealed by HMRC? Is that right? Any timescales on this? Any other exciting stuff happening? Cheers
  4. I pop in here every 1000 pages or so to see if RFC have been officially exterminated yet. Alas it seems as though both sides are still arguing about it. Did they win their first title yet?
  5. Man, this thread has really turned to shit... Here's hoping the plug gets pulled soon so that we can get back to pointing and laughing
  6. but would this not imply that Sevco is Rangers in disguise? That would mean they keep their history, but inherit the HMRC debt as well?
  7. Perhaps not, but it'll still be substantial. I think that in the same way the financial problems have galvanised the diddy support, I think the perceived injustice on sevco will do the same for their fans. Especially if they start to canter to big wins.
  8. Can't be arsed going back and finding the poster, but someone was talking about Sevco running out of money pretty quick in Div 3 (due to the 1m a month upkeep of Ibrox plus wages etc) Doing a quick calculation if they have 18 home games x 50000 capacity x £12 a ticket, then that's about 10.8 million. Plus sponsors, plus cup games etc. I reckon that would see them safely through the season, especially if they punt the high earners that have stayed. Or am I missing something?
  9. I know what you mean. I'm going back to inverness next season, but something still bugs me. I really hope that the spl clubs were unaware the buns were going to get entered back into div 1. If it turns out they were then I'm done. Not happy about the div 1 thing. Just as long as it's made clear that it's a new club. And everyone knows it.
  10. Vote was taken that Rangers application to join SPL was rejected on a vote of the clubs. St Mirren as declared by our Chairman voted to reject the application. The vote was an overwhelming rejection.
  11. Just listened to Doncaster's interview prior to todays meeting. He kept harping on about the damage to innocent clubs if newco are put in the 3rd division. Who negotiated exit clauses for sponsors if the 'old firm' were not in the league? It wasn't the clubs who are voting today. It's not them who is bringing about 'financial armageddon'.
  12. They need to vote and we can all move on. Let the fuckwits in charge earn their money. If sponsors withdraw then they need to find new ones, with a contract based on sponsoring the SPL. Not SPL (depending on teams). We should be proud enough of the 'product' to be able to sell it on its own. Then it's up to the fans to put the money where the mouth is and back your team.
  13. All this stuff about the sky deal - why can't the SPL / SFL / Cockwomble just propose something like; reduce SPL deal by (say) 1 million. Offer SFL (say) 1 million to show Div 3 matches live. Sky can show 2 games a weekend - Celtic and Sevco presumably. SPL teams suffer a very small drop in income from Sky. Sevco fans keep their Sky subscriptions. Diddy team fans keep their subscriptions. Everyone's a winner?
  14. I admit I was starting to feel sorry for the liquidated Glasgow team. But after reading the comments on the sevco media (the thread by the falkirk boy) I'm really not bothered if they die. I''ve been of the opinion that div 3 was best. But they are unwilling to come out of their own bubble. They don't want to mix with other fans, and still have the feck you attitude. No acceptance of the current issues and a vandetta when they get back to the spl . f**k em.

  16. Wow - that is taking paranoia to another level. Are you Celtic in disguise?
  17. I guess the other burning question is when does My Team: Rangers get removed from P&B? (or at least changed to something else)
  18. From some of the sound-bites being thrown around, it sounds to me like a demotion to the first entering a newco in Div 1 is the new plan. Sky have said that the TV deal is OK, at least for a season SPL and SFL are being merged. Cue an expanded 2nd tier needing teams to put in it Not letting the newco into the SPL will appease the fans calling for them not to be let back in I guess the EBT stuff is a separate issue. My own thought is that they lose their history, then the EBT is void. They want to hang on to their trophies, then they should be investigated. *I can't be arsed looking up all the info, just stuff I remember reading, so it might not be 100%.
  19. Can anyone explain why the newco is considered a new entity (and loses their trophy history etc), but can still be punished for the oldco being bad. I'd love to see both happen right enough, but should it not be either / or?
