  1. Totally different subject to the post i quoted, but you know that and the cynic in me would say you are using it a deflection tactic from the fact that celtic get just as many, if not more important penalties than rangers do Which is never highlighted in the media
  2. And this shows just how much pish is talked in the media circles, and how it can affect a fans thinking Guys like sutton hartson lennon and pretty much all the SSB crew constantly going on about Rangers penalties while nothing said of the celtic penalties gives fans a narrative of rangers getting help with theirs while celtics are meaningless, When in reality both clubs have roughly the same amount of meaningless penalties
  3. Beaton also never encouraged a review of the celtic penalty, which rodgers seems to forget about
  4. If VAR is an issue (the lines, time taken for looks etc) would fans and teams prefer trying put extra officials in the game, having a ref in each half (easier to keep up with quick attacks, like the hearts vs county dive that was a penalty) and stick 4 linesmen in each game and two officials behind each goal (one either side of the goal) to call fouls, offsides etc that the main ref might miss from an angle It would then be up to the main ref to take the advice of the extra official or stick with his initial reaction to an incident Fans/teams etc moaned for years and years about incidents being missed, wether refs needed help or refs needing shown up for being in favour of one or another team, now that a lot of missed things are being corrected (not flawless, but arguably VAR has corrected more mistakes than made) does everyone wanna just bin it and expect one guy to catch everything?
  5. Most probably because if play continues, and then the ref has to stop it mid play, and then sticks with his original decision, the attacking team could feel aggrieved etc When the play has stopped gor a throw in etc, and the ref is told that VAR are looking at something, its pointless restarting play only to need to stop it a minute later again Unless you mean the refs are actively stopping play while its going on because of a VAR check, which i canny mind if ive ever seen
  6. Too many refs now don't give penalties right away even after looking right at them, our two away to st johnstone the prime example, so the question is, are they scared of giving penalties now knowing VAR will check their decision, or are they just that incompetent that VAR has saved a lot of fucking awful decisions deciding games this season
  7. Yeah apart from changing your elemental guns to suit the weaknesses of the enemies it was pretty samey, think a big part of this is because quill only had a couple of attacks (apart from specials) and this was probably down to the buttons being used to control the other guardians, apart from shoot and punch/kick you couldn't do much else I did like the huddle up part in fights, thought that was another interesting aspect of a team relationship, plus in the middle of a massive battle, you huddle up to raise everyone, game starts up again and the bold Rick Astley starts belting out, superb stuff If the story and interaction between the guardians wasn't as good id have struggled to finish it maybe, Is it too sad to say that i downloaded all the Star Lord songs, given it was a made up band for the game
  8. Just finished Guardians of the Galaxy, might go for the platinum trophy as the trophies seem decent enough to go for Defo enjoyed this one, game was good and they did quite well in making it a single player but in control of the guardians at points in battle with use of button commands, its quite good watching your team go into battle and the AI does it quite well without making them too good that you can sit at the back doing nothing The chapters/levels have varied levels of exploration, the levels are good looking especially Knowhere, the game does hold your hand a wee bit too much when going through the levels though Where the game shines the best is the story and the interaction between the guardians, the ones available will ealk through levels with you and there's constant chatter slaggings etc between them, when you leave the path to explore rocket always has something to say about you for example lol. For anyone who has seen the films the game does recreate the aspect of them all thrown together but somehow working very nicely The story is a new one created for the game, and is good enough to keep you interested all way through My one gripe is that during battles where theres numerous enemies and obviously all the guardians, it can get a bit confusing where everyone is and whats happening, but certainly isnt game breaking Edit to add, it has an absolutely banging soundtrack including a made up band called star lord just for the game, the songs chosen for the game are fucking tremendous
  9. Watched the highlights back again, as many will know I've long backed VAR and said its the operators that are the issue, last nights use of VAR was abysmal against both sides Hard to back VAR when its not being used properly
  10. This is when the ball strikes lundstrams elbow, absolutely no way his arm is out
  11. Ive not seen season 2 yet as not had time so not sure how it finishes but charlie cox recently just started filming daredevil born again for the mcu, so he could be tied up a while with that Got to imagine they'll throw a lot of money at the cast at some point to get together again
  12. Hate to break the news regarding season 3...........
  13. Meh we'll take it, an absolute c**t of a ground to go to at any time nevermind when killie are playing well Dont think any of the handballs are handballs tbh but tonight it was our turn to not benefit, its gonna happen and it will happen again 3pts, only the one injury and hopefully barisic' last ever fucking game in a rangers top
  14. Its only the cut scenes they have remastered if i remember the trailer correctly
  15. I actually preferred the space battles, landing a troop transporter on the enemy ship and spawning troopers and taking the ship down from inside was absolute class BF 2 on the ps2 is what BF2 on the ps4 should have been, infact all they had to do was do the game in ps4 graphics and absolutely not touch another fucking thing and it would have made an absolute killing for them
  16. Aye, took a combo of a few things for us to win by 5 yesterday, hearts being poor, us being good, early goal to throw hearts gameplan out the window and then that mistake for the second goal as you said
  17. Going to the armadillo for queen extravaganza this friday coming, meant to be quite good (picked by taylor and may so must have something about them surely) Be the 2nd aueen tribute ive seen, the bohemians in the o2 academy a couple years ago were tremendous and was a great night
  18. Damned if he does, Damned if he doesn't, given the form hearts are in he maybe rightly thought he'd keep it as much the same as possible as the players are playing well with it Goal after 2 mins throws any plan out the window mind you, If he changed his set up today and rangers won by even say 3, everyone would say "why did ge change a system that had them flying"
  19. Cheers, both games on their own is 111 quid so 22 is probably a bargain even if you end up just dipping in and out of them Got GotG last night for 13 quid, probs buy the bundle and then march 14th the original battlefront and battlefront 2 is released as a double pack,
  20. Ps store has AC Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising bundle for 22 quid Has anyone played either game and thinks it's a worthy deal?
  21. Be interesting to see when this was set, iirc the TVA didnt exist anymore at the end of Loki season 2
  22. Its not the system though, can you say one instance where the VAR tech failed and it wasn't operator fault Even if theres one or a couple, thats amongst thousands of games with VAR in use
  23. Its not just about people "growing up" hearts for example were denied a stonewall absolute 100% penalty at 0-0 at home in a game they eventually dropped two points in because the ref it would seem never had the correct view of the foul If the VAR operator had done his job the ref would see the mistake and award the penalty, but because the VAR guy never, it makes VAR look shite Would fans prefer 2 officials behind the goals and 4 linesmen to try catch things refs missed?
