  1. This isn't looking good for me then
  2. Anyone been to the Chisholm hunter in Edinburgh? I'm hoping to have a mooch around in there this week and try on a few pieces but the main caveat is I'm not going to be buying at this time. I notice on street view they appear to have a bloke on the door so he may keep the riffraff out! So long as I'm not dressed like a tramp I take it they'll pretty much let anyone in?
  3. Not sure but I think we've reached this point have we not?
  4. you must b getting mixed up between a gif and an animated gif
  5. trademarking something terrible https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65320724
  6. I think he's messed with his own head more over the years than anything that brechins done. The guys a fucking loser and it's all a bit sad how pathetic he is.
  7. I think you've misunderstood the phrase, face like painters radio.
  8. Last year I went to see Milton Jones at the music hall in Aberdeen and Gary delany at the Tivoli theatre also in Aberdeen. Both superb shows but I like that one liner / off the wall comedy they do. Previous year I saw Stewart Francis in Arbroath. Again another good show but the only downside was he had to ask the ushers to move out of his eyeline while he was doing the show as it was distracting him. Fair enough from a health and safety / fire precaution they had to be there but there were some spare seats so they could have sat down. I'm potentially looking at seeing tim vine later on in the year in Aberdeen as well.
  9. To be fair in this context welshbairn has summed it up. In the wider context I'd call anyone a nutjob if they ended up screaming in someone's face before getting violent cos there's pretty much no reason at all for that type of behaviour. Unfortunately social media and forum platforms add fuel to this type of behaviour. reasoned discussions and debate are pushed to the side in favour of divisive black and white arguing spilling over to violence.
  10. In both cases, it may also be down to how you're accessing the internet. If its only through your mobile network then all that content is down to you but if you're on a shared wifi network whether its at home or at work then its possibly down to other people looking at weird shit and as a result the algorithms are saying that all people using wifi network X is a mentalist
  11. It's about the algorithms. Once you've viewed one weirdo trans but job tweet that's you for life. All the weirdo trans nutjobs are being directed to you. I assume that twitter like other social media stuff there's an option for you to stop being tracked or clear your tweeted history so you reset the algorithms?
  12. Quite literally! All settled at the bottom though.
  13. 100 Jamie's last year. all time high was 1996 when there was 701 Jamies

  15. Certainly with my level of savings / investment funds i personally don't see the need for an advisor as such but I'm sure that'll change further down the line (I'll be mortgage free within 2 years so that frees up some extra cash). I definitely don't doubt that a proper tailored pension plan / financial advice is invaluable for maximising retirement funds etc. Especially when i see the general information guys using figures like £250k in the bank to have a comfortable enough retirement allowing you to have a nice lifestyle before following on with having £500k / £1million would be better type thing!
  16. I'm at the stage when I'm thinking more about it. I recently subscribed to meaningful money on YouTube which has some decent tips. I'm at the stage where I've got a comfortable month by month spending and sticking extra into savings and pension and increased my pension contributions from my salary so I'm paying less tax on what I earn. I'll be increasing my contributions year on year as well to increase the pot providing I don't pop my clogs beforehand!
  17. Is sticking money in premium bonds, savings ISA, stocks and shares ISA and pension not enough these days?
  18. Are we talking juanjo type of money here?
  19. Just watched the BBC Scotland news bulletin. Both Sarah McMullen and Gillian smart sporting their porteous green outfits in honour of last night's performance. Sarah with a massive grin on her face as she's reading out the report!
