Doing exactly what you've just advised against here, but I like that Klok has moved to number 12. Perhaps implies he's going to take on a more important role in the team than last season. 2014/15 is Klok's time to shine.

I used to help run a very busy forum and from my experience all I'll say is - don't let the 'power' go to your, or anyone else on the Mod team's heads. You need a consistent approach to moderating that the whole team adhere to. Otherwise it falls apart. Ideally, you don't want the moderators to be a talking point at all. Just working quietly in the background (although obviously it's more difficult to do that if there's constant trolling).

I'd guess the six are: Fraser, Micic, Morrow, Gallacher, Glen, Fotheringham. Scott is only on loan from Hibs, so don't imagine he'd count. The one is bound to be Vigurs. Looks like it will be another exciting transfer window of transition. If we can keep the rest and supplement them with other high quality imports, we could potentially have a very good team next season!

Someone who can resist the temptation to be a control freak in overall control of the board and finances, and a team of sensible Mods helping to manage the day-to-day running of things. If I was playing Football Manager with this squad, I would try bringing in Bateson for Tokely and Kovacevic for Munro. I'd save it and see how it went (reloading when it completely falls on its arse...). A more dynamic defence could allow the midfield some more freedom. I've only seen Bateson in the friendly against Raith (not the league cup game) and he looked like he could have a bit of attacking intent about him. Certainly, the lack of overlapping threat from the fullbacks is a distinct difference from last season. As immense as Tokely is, he's not as good at getting forward as Miller was. Something to think about for games where we might be expected to get points, anyway. I'd also like to see Fotheringham pushed forward into the Gardyne role. I assumed that's what he was signed to do as we already have a plethora of central midfielders. If he's not the answer, a young creative talent with something to prove is surely the answer. Like Gardyne himself when he first joined. Look what ICT have done getting the lad Roberts in from Arsenal. Surely we could pull off a deal like that?

The most remarkable thing about that is that Paul Lawson only has size 7 1/2 feet!
