Enjoyed that game. As was said the link up play wasn't too great but we retained a fair amount of possession and did well to break up a lot of Sheffield United's play. It was good to see the squad freshened up as we really needed to get rid of some deadwood. Cardle looked quite dangerous, I think he'll play with a bit more passion for the shirt this season compared to last seasons remainder.

I thought it was a challenge from Dyer, was an awful, awful game from memory! 1-0 or something in the end. Hope he can stay injury free, seemed to have a fairly solid season with plenty appearances in Lithuania but then again I know next to nothing about the league!

Highly pleasing news! The midfield really was needing a new makeover and I too would like to see Cardle stay but I'm not sure he will.
