You'd think an appeal would succeed
Don't think I'd bother appealing a McAllister red .

Think the problem with Chalmers is he's good when he's good but he to inconsistent.
Reminds me of the arguments about Henry Templeton years ago He'd either be invisible or a world beater. He'd have contributed little in a game then go on a mazy run out of nowhere drifting by half a team and setting up or scoring the winner.

First time I've managed to get to a game since Bullen left.
Although it was against a poor Arbroath team I think Brown has made a big difference to a few players.
McAllister looked a lot less rash and didn't seem to just be charging about like a headless chicken.
Amartey looked dangerous and although he wasn't flying by folk he was always in the right place and got us into a few dangerous positions. Played well.
Musonda just ran all day. Him and Murphy linked well on the left. Both played well .
Dempsey looked a lot better than the last time I had seen him. More like the player we thought he was.
The rest all had decent games as well. Thought Sanders looked comfortable next to Stanger and both of them used the ball well.
Vast improvement since the tail end of last year in that we seem to be able to create some chances now.

Least it’s bought and paid for. No loans. Seen your accounts recently?
1.1 million loss this year and reliant on directors to stay a going concern?
1.9 million loss in 2022?

I've rarely been able to make a game this season but wtf is that defending about in those highlights. Who has ever coached the 8 players standing in a straight line with their arms out and letting the other team play in front of you tactic?
The quicker this entire squad is filleted the better.

Stroke of genius that line up ...

So would Killie, Dunfermline and Motherwell

That away top looks like someone left a pair of dark blue pants in the wash just before they had to unveil it

@davidkennedyshand David Kennedys hand of god is my 2nd favourite Ayr v killie memory. Is there any footage of it?
Sadly I've never seen any hint of footage from then. If you listen carefully you can still hear their fans booing and shouting cheat on the wind near Somerset after they missed the penalty and we scored the winner no long after Then Henry and Stevie McIntyre appeared at the end with a Fleetings Flops pay the penalty flag
Would love to see this incident and the 4-1 game New Year game again.

Tommy Bryce was sent off for making a glasses gesture at a linesman after he was flagged for offside well inside his own half
St Johnstone game we were 2 up and Brian McGinlay absolutely lost the plot?
Gave St Johnstone either 2 or 3 penalties as well as that daft Bryce decision and had a masked mob waiting for him and he needed a police escort away from the ground.
Anyone remember J C O Hares inept performance away to Stranraer? Sent Cammy Duncan,Tom Woods and Neil McKilligan off. I remember Stainrod was absolutely losing the plot on the touchline

I'm about 11 minutes into this. DL comes across as the utter cretin we all heard he was.

We played Meadowbank at Somerset once where the rain was so heavy you could barely see the 18 yard line through it from The Somerset road end(the physical space, not the Facebook group) Ayr won 7-0. The Meadowbank keeper had an absolute nightmare. As did one of the wingers who got barged into a huge puddle in the red ash next to the north terrace.
I remember that. The whole touchline was a puddle and the winger was straight in

One of the best I saw was Duncan George and Terry Hurlock racing for loose ball and wee Duncan put Hurlock on his erse and came away with the ball.... a magnificent sight....
My favourite Duncan George "tackle" was on Tony Rougier. We were 1 down and Rougier was just gliding by everyone with the ball with ease. Until Duncan went in with what looked like a waist high tackle. Rougier was fine but never went by anyone for the rest of the game.
Jim Dick booting Gary Holt into the Killie dugout was also a personal favourite

Can someone with a better memory than me post Davie White’s record.
They say 6 games in his interview but I can only remember 4/5.
Morton and Raith after Kerr left.
Raith after Duffy left.
And then yesterday.
Can make it 5 if you include the Arbroath game which is probably fair enough even though Bullen was technically in charge.
I can’t place any others.
Duncan just posted this on Facebook Ayr United stats page
Davie White's record as interim manager is as follows. Morton 0 Ayr United 2 (League) on 6th March, 2021 : Raith Rovers 0 Ayr United 0 (League) on 9th March, 2021 : Ayr United 2 Raith Rovers 0 (League) on 26th December, 2021 : Ayr United 1 Arbroath 0 (League) on 8th January, 2022 : Ayr United 3 Kelty Hearts 0 (Scottish Cup) on 20th January, 2024. Played 5 Won 4 Drawn 1 Lost 0 For 8 Against 0. The Arbroath game took place the day after Lee Bullen's appointment but Davie White was key to this result.

What a ridiculous article from VoR.
Doesn't mention he dropped Tomi when he came in and was then left with no option but to put him back in.
He'll no be remembered as one of our worst but nowhere near the good manager list either. His record was basically tread water, get lucky with Dipo...sink like the Titanic

Shankland seems to put a lot of blame at our door and not an awful lot at his own.
He simply wasn't quick enough for any level higher than where he is. He also looked like he plays with no passion or heart.
Also raging that when him and Robbie Crawford had their trial at Liverpool he had his flat picked out and wasn't quiet about it. Assumed Liverpool would sign him.

For me, Reid was fine but always fell short of the potential shown in that one game he and Mark McGeown took caretaker charge for in around 2008, where the performance was hugely entertaining.
I think Alex Ingram was also involved in that management team.

The whole incident sums him up perfectly.
He'd looked slightly better since Brown arrived and I thought he'd maybe cut out that type of stupidity but clearly that's not the case.
The team should be vastly improved by his suspension.
