Queens Park v Ayr United
davidkennedyshand replied to North British's topic in Scottish Championship General Chatter
I actually think the one thing Ashford did offer more of was defensive cover. Most of Arbroath's attempts seemed to come down Reading and JMLs side of the park. -

Thought we played pretty well. Made a few chances but not many. JML was a handful in the first half. Dipo works amazingly hard and looks as if he'll win most of the physical battles. Bryden got into good positions but his final ball was poor a few times. McAllister looked far better than Houston has. Most noticeable for me was the high level of fitness we seemed to have. Looked very sharp. -

Doesn't score too many but constantly harasses defenders and likes generally rumbling them up all game. -

4-2-3-1? Either Murdoch or Dempsey forward with Ashford and JML wide Hewitt and another as holding Mids? -

Yeah he's a big Ayr fan. I know him from Prestwick gym where he was the manager before this new one. He's done coaching for our youth teams up at Shoot as well. -

The new one wasn't actually going to show new films I don't think. I can't remember the details. It was some Irish company that had one other cinema Here's the initial story https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailyrecord.co.uk/ayrshire/first-look-multi-million-pound-23531202.amp -

He'll probably be added to the no good enough for Ayr pile among some sections of our support by ten to five despite nobody knowing anything about him -

I think it was around 1995 so none will exist. I remember his cameo. Kinda came on,ran into folk and couldn't control the ball. Think Stainrod brought him in. He had short dreadlocks and wore loads of bling and s brown knee length trench coat type thing when he was out and about and not running about the park. Think he was about for a few games but only appeared in 1 -

Agree with that. A lot of good performances last night. Smith and McInroy looked like a potentially brilliant partnership. Hopefully we can get McInroy back. Bullen deserves credit for turning an absolute disaster of a season into keeping us up. He's made a few mistakes with line ups and tactics but he's done what he had to. Considering the way we were heading under Hopkin it's quite good really. Player wise you can make a case for keeping quite a few funnily enough. However Baird,Fjortoft, Houston,Moff and Kenyon will all be away I'd think. Hopefully can re sign McInroy, Maxwell,Muirhead Tomi and Dempsey. Reading and Murdoch I wouldn't mind if they re signed but wouldn't be gutted if they left either. I may be way off with this though as I've barely seen us for a season and a half due to various circumstances -

Allan that runs the new gym at Pro Soccer is an Ayr fan and I know some the team have been in there to try it out. He's also done some training with AUFA as well -

I'd stick him in midfield. Exactly the type of player we need. I remember his debut at Morton when one of the first things he did was pull the hair out of some wee guy in their midfields leg. He jumped a few feet -

We will take Johnson, Paterson and Barry Bannan no bother at all. Wednesday can have the million pound youngster McGinty, Salkeld is similar to Paterson but more mobile so it's only fair to take him and Fjortofts Dad was a Premier League player so that's 3 fair swaps -
