Actually I'm not sure the off-side trap will work against someone with the burst of speed like Murray. With the lack of speed with our available CB's; a striker timing his run right means that its almost certainly one on one with the goalkeeper. I'd rather our defenders held back and dealt with the threat as it occurred. We looked pretty solid at corners against St Mirren; winning pretty much everything in the air; as far as I recall Jordan White was County's main threat there but, as far as I can recall, he's tall but cant jump for toffee.

Schools... yes. One of my friends went in to teaching after a lifetime of experience in accountancy but had to give it up through stress and constantly being threatened by parents for daring to criticise their kid's work (or lack of it). -

Saw someone throwing a toilet roll onto the pitch a few games back - unfortunately they failed to hold on to one end. -

There are obviously laws to deal with these idiots; arrests and football banning orders for a start. Police should have been in presence at the station. Any issues and the buster-browns are hauled off; the trains can even be stopped from leaving the station until its all sorted out. Even better; stick them in the cells until the sheriffs courts open on Monday. That combined with a couple of hundred pound fine or community service and it ends up being a bit of an expensive weekend. -

Wasn't help by the coach arriving two hours early and the club house being very accommodating to away supporters. -

How about the two toilets at Annan Athletic -portaloo's but raised on some form of decking so, not only was the floor spongy, but bounced whenever walked on to the decking - impossible to hit the target - god help you if you needed to sit down -

Sorry but I found the smoke quite annoying but if my wife had been there it would have put her in hospital with her health issues. I therefore don't agree with your they're only having fun line. Stadiums are no-smoking for a reason. -

Don't remember St Mirren ever really being like that until a couple of years back when away supporters weren't allowed to leave to ground until about 10 minutes after the game finished in case of incidents outside of the ground. Don't think I've seen any trouble there though - mind you although I'm in my late 60's now my two son's are each built like the proverbial brick sh#thouses. Its a weird one; seems only yesterday I was the one looking after them. -

Agreed; there's so many examples; every team have their candidates. No way he's anywhere near Boyle standards though. -

Actually although the incident appears to have been confirmed by the club shop; the kids in question weren't wearing any club colours. There is an assumption that they were visiting "casuals" but no definitive connection. The club shop have however said that they will replace the stolen items. -
Two wins in the whole bunch? That's impressive......

Don't remember the overhead kick but certainly Ryan Hardie breaking away from the defence, timing his run perfectly, before slotting it away past the goalkeeper. Happy days before he got injured and missed out on the playoffs. As far as I recall Hardie never really shone during his loan to St Mirren though -
When Barry Robson said he guaranteed Aberdeen would finish third did he actually mean third from the top?

Now the match would actually have lasted 130 minutes after time added on for various VAR reviews -

Wasn't there a game a few seasons back where Halkett scored for both teams; St Mirren had a player sent off and then went on to win the game? -
County have to be our main target but I'd feel a lot more optimistic if Adams was still in charge.

Livingston have to play both Motherwell and Hibs before the break; as well as trips to St Johnstone and Ross County. Just recently our form against Motherwell has been appalling; but not a whole lot better against Hibs - that being said Hibs away and Motherwell at home have been our only league wins this season so go figure.

Yes; is looking a bit of a life or death struggle between the bottom 3; Aberdeen are only one point away but with two games in hand, and none of the remaining games against the old firm, I think we can assume they're "comfortable".
