That reminds me - hats off to Montrose FC. No jobsworths in hi-viz trying to stop the party, no extra barricades around the pitch, no haranguing over the PA. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived in the town - the cafes, pubs and kebab joints were great. Many thanks to the Legion keeping their lounge open for visiting fans even though they had a wedding on. The cops were good natured and just kept an eye on things without being arseholes. Although there were huge queues to get in the ground, they moved quickly with no hassle. Well done to the Montrose team for the guard of honour, although bending over to take seven was maybe a bit OTT
Full of respect for Montrose, my favourite wee team now.

Just watching Still Game there.
Does anyone not keep their CD/ Radio/ Cassette Player on top of the fridge?
What's that grandad? Is that so you can play your banging tunes in the scullery on your 78s?

Wouldn't surprise me. I've turned up there when we were playing away.

Hope everyone's remembering the late kick off time tomorrow.
(I'd forgotten)

Hard to believe we're almost halfway to our goal of a second successve Invincibles season.

Morrison, Spencer, Lang, Donaldson could all take it .. in fact the whole team have been superb.
I'd go Morrison as it's been a while we've had a player who looks like he puts fear into the opposition every time he has the ball.
Lang puts fear into the opposition every time they have the ball.

Might be an anomaly, measure the rest.
I did. 18 slices - maximum thickness 16.38mm, minimum 13.52mm - a variance of 2.86mm or a whopping 21.2%. No wonder my toast results are all over the place!

At first I laughed, then I wondered what this chump was doing in F1. The obvious answer is "rich daddy" and wow - not half. Harry Sargeant III is worth about £3bn, selling fuel to the American military amongst other things. He's also a Trump supporter.
Quote“Sargeant met with Trump at Mar-A-Lago and was involved in Ukraine business affairs with Lev Parnas and Igor Fruman, two Soviet born businessmen who worked with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani on back channel efforts to tarnish former Vice President Joe Biden.”
So now I'll watch and laugh as this spoiled little rich kid is humiliated again and again.

Vote cast for POTY - and it wasn't easy. In the end I went for the player who has been transformed this season. Lang, Spencer, McCann, Morrison and Nesbitt have always been good. Tait and MacIvor are improving but it really came down to a choice between Henderson and Donaldson. Hendo is amazing and his celebrations are awesome but Donaldson is different gravy. A fantastic central defender who can play the ball and score some absolute rockets, he's really stepped up to not only improve his own game but to Captain the side and be the influential motivator and leader. All while not missing a single minute of the season.
Take a bow Captain Colossus.

Excluding the non-league clubs doesn't seem very meritocratic.
Very true. Give them a fiver

All gate money, sponsorship, tv money etc pooled and split equally between the 42 clubs. Seems fair. Success then comes down to competence and ability - a meritocracy.

Probably not, but there are lots of houses being built in West Lothian, so potentially a new fanbase to tap in to as it grows as a commuter town. My mate lives in Bathgate and two of his wife's friends have started taking their kids along to Livi: one a Celtic fan and the other who mainly follows English football. The fans are there if you're willing to be brave.
Quite a relief that TFS is the size it is. If we do draw one of them in the cup - or reach the Premiership again - they'll get the full North Stand and the stadium will be close to capacity which will save all the tedious debates.Didn't we give them a section of the Main Stand once, moving the season ticket holders?

For me a fourth stand would be far down the list of priorities, unless it could somehow be funded on a cost-neutral basis as there is no need for the extra capacity.
The fact that has not been possible in 20 years suggests it is a non-starter.

Hate crime reports are handled by the force's Contact, Command and Control centres. These have been extremely busy but are understood to be coping with the number of complaints Ms Brown told BBC Radio's Good Morning Scotland programme that "misinformation" and publicity had led to the high number of reports. She also confirmed that a "fake complaint" was made using her name and contact details on Monday.

Seen a few articles now as the blazers get their pet journos to start nipping away at the Ultras in Scottish football. They can f**k right off with that as our Ultras have been sensational, transforming the match day experience for everyone. They are what supporting football is about - passion, energy, joy and yes - a frisson of danger and excitement. I don't mind the smoke bombs and flares. At the start of the season I thought the drum was a bit naff but I was absolutely wrong on that one. I love the banners, flags and songs "MCIVOR!!"
But they're looked down upon by the suits who will no doubt try to control them, ban them, drive them out of what they wrongly consider their turf. I hope that we, as a fan owned club speak up for our fans and prevent the wankers in charge squeezing the joy out of the game.

Good to see that despite reaching the championship the fans of the 'league cup group stage winners' are as tinpot as ever
Does that qualify them for a star above their badge?

When we were getting French in 1st/2nd Year, our teacher told us French kids put chocolate on baguettes. When my family took their first ever foreign holiday when I was 14, I remembered this and made a beeline for a supermarket (Supermarche).
A bar of Dairy Milk on a buttered roll isn't the foreign delicacy she made it out to be.

Col said they sat down before the start of the season and worked out what they needed to do to win the division. Let's hope they do the same again. None of this "hoping to compete" or "consolidating", we're in it to win it. The majority of the squad will be the same, with the shared experience and winning mentality and they've shown that it's not about having the best players*, the second best squad on the third best budget absolutely smashed it through desire and hard work.
Now do it again.
*there's barely a player in our team I'd swap for anyone else in the league though.

No, that's completely wrong. He's not on a "list", all they've done is record that the complaint was made and they investigated it. This would be used for statistics, that's all. Far from presuming it would be shared with other agencies, that's illegal and would never happen.
Fair enough - took it from this https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-68655579
