What's Morton fans views on season ahead? Sounds like you guys weren't too impressed with Duffy last season. Do you think he's up to the job? I'm looking at my team (Alloa), Dumbarton, Morton and Livingston being bottom 4. Preferably Livingston being bottom.

I assume we will have a good few players (if signed) training full time with development youngsters next season?

Dougie mentioned in local rag he was offered more money elsewhere, but wanted to stay in championship with Alloa. I couldn't see Alloa offering close to £450 p/w for Hill. The chairman makes a big deal about sticking to budget.

I feel sorry for dunfermline, dundee, airdrie and stranraer. These clubs are back at pre season and still dont know what league they may be playing in. Sfl/sfa/spl need to get this sorted fast.

Rangers should start at div 3. However, didnt airdrie utd start in div 2 after buying out clydebank? Sure that was the case.

rangers whatever would walk the sfl leagues. Gretna pished div2 & 3 then just won 1st with journeymen pros and young guys. Newco would have far bigger resources than them.

Dont get all the gloating over this. New team rangers whatever, spend 3yrs in sfl leagues, get to spl then. With no real debt issues and plenty of fan support. Most rangers fans will support newco in time. Doesnt matter what they are called. All rangers haters will still hate newco anyway. Not much will change!

Rangers should be sent to division three, newco or not. Broke rules and deserve what they get. I have no wish to see them ended as a part of scottish football though. Reckon most folk on forum do, for whatever reason. Probably just because its the hated rangers. They are a major part of our game (like it or not), and spl chairmen will save them because they need the dosh!
