  1. I wish I'd taken a picture of them. Couple of proper loonballs with them. Was like a day-release outing from the mental ward.
  2. Cockburn and that boy of the telly last night in Falkirk high street today. When his lackie asked if I was voting I told him no as they are all shite but they were the shitest of the shite in a very loud voice. Cockburn didn't seem to like it too much and the media women looked shocked. You'd think they would be used to a bit of stick
  3. Loy isn't so much a striker, he's like to play deeper or wider. Technically he's very good. Could be part of a deadly partnership if you find the right strike partner
  4. Cash is king these days. Your idea of buttons will vary quite a lot from the boards I think.
  5. I'd imagine £50k would be accepted. Hopefully they are still looking at options and manage to get someone in before the window shuts if a deal is done.
  6. Steady on. I rate him as just above average. The fact Loy is our best player by a distance shows the current squad isn't really great.
  7. Does anyone one know roughly how many votes are required for the swing to Yes?
  8. Graham would be an ideal signing for us just now, especially on loan. I don't really rate him but he should give us what we need.
  9. If Sibbs doesn't hit the ground running I'd put him out on loan. Should be contributing much more.
  10. There will be a policy for that and I'm sure the drivers induction will cover it. You go into the job knowing it's a possibility. You're really showing yourself to be either totally ignorant or just a bit of a c**t.
  11. Every manager has a preferred system which is fine if it works. Good managers and players know how to adapt to win games. Targeting the weakness of the opposition before and most importantly during games is key. We don't seem to do this.
  12. Yes, I'll be going for the comedy potential more than anything else. You'll not get much coming from the club will be pretty predictable stuff.
  13. Fucking embarrasment by our club.............yet again
  14. I think most BBC Scotland comedies are poor with big budgets being thrown at them.
  15. It just didn't look like a Falkirk strip. I feel the same about the yellow ones. While all the yellow ones have been smart yellow is not Falkirk colours.
  16. I think the suggestion is more bending over to gain favour from the SPL rather than Rangers
  17. That's what has annoyed me about the whole affair too. The transformation in the feeling around the club in the past twelve months has been amazing but this has added a bit of a bad smell to it. I'm sure plenty of people will be pissed off and same may not attend games but after the 1st Dunfermline game people will start to focus on supporting the team and looking forward. All fans want the same thing but will often disagree on how it should be achieved. You should respect other fans opinions if not agree with them. Falkirk fans are quick to squabble with each other and question others view points or motives but can also give great backing to the team.
  18. Sounds as if it has come from the mouth of Martin Ritchie himself. He came out with all that there won't be a club to support shit at his "begging meeting" towards the end of the season before last. Considering we moved into the Falkirk Stadium as a debt free club and almost ended up calling in administrators a mere 6 years later is pretty shambolic stewardship but last season seemed to indicate the club were moving forward positively as a whole and the feel around the place was the best since we moved away from Brockville IMO. That's what annoys me most about the whole thing. Martin Ritchie's legacy for me is presiding over 2 relegations and sticking the fingers up at the fans along the way. Mind you its a job not many people would want to take on in Scottish football these days.
  19. It's not about where Rangers ended up. I think Ned, like myself and others would like to have the confidence that our board would do the right thing by their fans and Scottish football. All this secret ballot stuff is a load of rubbish. A secret ballot doesn't mean you aren't allowed to say how you voted. It is however a handy shield to avoid giving an answer. I'm not comfortable if our board make decisions against the fans wishes and just stay quiet and tough out any flak, it gives them freedom to do this in the future if fans are so apathetic about club issues.
  20. Not at all surprised if they did vote yes. We've already had good season ticket sales so they're happy, f*ck what the supporters think. Sums up the board for me
  21. Ultimately he can't score and isn't really big enough to be a target man. Has got decent attributes though. I would have thought he would have ended up a midfielder.
  22. No he's pretty pish. The sort of player that looks good a youth level but when it comes to competitive pro football he's a liability.
  23. It's great to hear a player thinking of his career above money these days.
