  1. There can be more than two bad squads. Middle to front we are rubbish.
  2. I'm still not sold on either Inglis or Paterson. Inglis got a run at the start of the season and was very average. Paterson has struggled in the games I've seen him start.
  3. Agree, the lack of width is an issue but without Thomson there's nobody to play on the right and Seb Ross is basically the only option on the other side and he offers very little. We also, as stated, have no creativity in the middle of the park or someone to put their foot on the ball. It all comes back to poor recruitment, everywhere you turn there's an issue.
  4. He's moved Whatley around and left him out recently, he's never been a hugely creative player in his career. Robson, I agree on. He contributes nothing, same with Moore yet both are in without fail, which is a wind-up.
  5. He's tried just about every formation going and it's rarely been the same line up two weeks running! He's definitely got a blind spot when it comes to certain players though.
  6. Campbell was sacked while we were in League 1, this is happening in a really poor League 2. I'm still amazed at how rubbish things have been under McKinnon, expected us to push on and keep improving. His signings and retentions in the summer have killed us.
  7. It's been so mind numbingly boring for so long now, I'm just about at the point of not caring. Who would be able to do anything with this group of players?
  8. 1. The US Office 2. Parks and Recreation 3. Fargo 4. Better Call Saul 5. Succession 6. Breaking Bad 7. The Sopranos 8. Mad Men 9. Phoenix Nights 10. Father Ted
  9. Not just that -- no vision or creativity in midfield and no decent options to play out wide without Thomson. Middle to front we have the most beige squad I've seen.
  10. What wide players? That was a diamond today wasn't it? Thats him just about tried every formation and every line up. Why on earth do we need someone sitting infront of the back four in a game like that? Still no league wins at home, in this league?
  11. Brian Reid obviously unlocked it at Albion Rovers as did Gary Irvine in his first season back at us where he bagged ten goals and 14 assists. He was starved of service last season and our supporters got on his back and destroyed the guys confidence simply because he doesn't tear around like a bull in a china shop, which is exactly what we are stuck with now.
  12. Dylan Easton running things for Raith, what a footballer. Can you mind when some on here wanted Connor Coupe playing ahead of him? That's the sort of thing we're up against with our fans.
  13. He started the league season at left wing back then left back and was so bad McKinnon had to move Matty Allan (!) there until Brindley came back. He's played in midfield for four seasons and what impact has he had? It's waving through and accepting mediocre players like this that will definitely see us in the Highland League.
  14. Aye, but most of the time that's exactly why teams are at the bottom. I said right at the start of the season I would take 9th purely based on the make-up of the squad.Defence is fine if he'd actually stick with a regular back four instead of the mental chopping and changing. Midfield and upfront, forget it (other than Thomson). Callum Moore for example intrigues me. What is it people have seen him do in four seasons that they rate the guy? What is he good at? I couldn't believe it when I seen McKinnon was attempting to get him back.
  15. Cracking analogy btw. The denial is something else, I'm not sure why there is such refusal to just accept we have a bottom end League 2 squad.
  16. Just watched Episode 1 of the new season, looks like it's well and truly back on track.
  17. Anything can happen in the League Cup, nothing should be read into it. On paper, astro or grass, our squad is rubbish.
  18. Absolutely. All the talk of lack of effort or interest. The bottom line is the squad is miles off it. We have about five players worth keeping -- four defenders and Thomson. Robson? Moore? Mutale? Skelly? What is it they do? Theyre in without fail for some unfathomable reason. Who is going to create and who is going to put the ball in the net? Wouldn't matter who was in charge.
  19. That's flukey late equalisers now against East Fife, Huntly and Clyde recently. What a desperate season this has been, still can't get over the kneeslides and pitch invasions at Huntly.
