  1. Welsh is v good but has injury issues which have been discussed repeatedly on here. He also wanted to move back to the central belt so he'd likely have gone south in the summer anyway. I do agree it's mental to have let him go to a relegation rival (at the time) for nothing. Ferguson clearly didn't fancy him for whatever reason or we just wanted to save even more money and get some cheap loans in instead. The way we've been run is a joke and we're going to get our just rewards for it.
  2. I would park in the Catherine Street car park. Not sure if that's the one you mean but I'd always found it to be pretty good in terms of distance to the ground (10 - 15 minutes) and price (free).
  3. The Caley would almost certainly go part time you'd imagine. Certainly based on some of the chat at the recent fans meetings anyway. They could save some money right now by closing the North Stand. I certainly preferred watching games there compared to the Main Stand but given our crowds at the moment what is the point in keeping it open?
  4. Had a quick look at the games under Ferguson with/without Wotherspoon. We played 10 games with Wotherspoon and 13 without. We averaged 1.3 PPG with Wotherspoon versus 1.1 without. We scored an average of 1.4 goals per game with versus 1.1 without. We conceded an average of 1.1 goals per game with versus 1.3 without. So it certainly seems like his absence is costing us. Of course some of the recent downturn could be the absolute dung brought in by Ferguson in the January window
  5. This had already crossed my mind. One missing piece is that Carson is no longer with us.
  6. The folk saying that maybe relegation would be a good thing are probably the same people who thought it would be good back in 2017. Relegation would be a disaster and should be avoided at all costs.
  7. I think we're done for. Admittedly I haven't been able to get to any games this season bar Airdrie at the start of the year so I can only base my thoughts on YouTube highlights and comments on places like here but we just seem so insipid under Ferguson. Plenty of possession at times but it seems to completely break down in the final third and we don't have much of a creative spark anywhere in the team. We don't have too bad a defensive record despite some really poor play at the back at times but it's the other end of the pitch where we struggle. Ferguson genuinely seems happy when we draw but our recent form has been pathetic. No home wins since November and you can see why home fans were getting on the back of the team and manager recently (something Ferguson couldn't understand for some reason). Nothing that I see or read about the team or Ferguson at the minute suggests that they will avoid relegation. We're not good enough and I don't believe that he knows how to sort things out. He was backed in January and brought in 8 players. hard to see how some of these are better than the people they replaced. There may be reasons for letting Welsh, Carson etc go but it doesn't seem like people brought in the other month are anywhere near good enough. It seems like another, possibly final, chapter of the ICT Banter Years is about to be written.
  8. Apparently the Niners will trade a 7th round pick for Zach Wilson.
  9. Incredible to think that Ferguson has made this side worse since he took over.
  10. I swear Ferguson is doing some kind of player laundering in his tenure with us. No way his son can get a deal with us when he is muck.
  11. We are so, so bad. Get Ferguson out and appoint one of the shouty people in the stands. They can't be any worse.
  12. Genuinely thought that statement was going to end with "The cry was no surrender" for a second.
  13. Looking forward to the next lot of houses at Milton of Leys and Culduthel being rejected because they are on a hill that some weans like to scoot down on a sheet of red plastic when it's snowy 3 days a year.
  14. Armstead lands with the Jags. Three year $51 million deal.
  15. It was a winner for the club as they "owned" the land so it meant one less issue to deal with. However you are right in saying that trying to site this kind of scheme at this location was, on the face of it, daft and the club never really justified the loss of green space. That said, I do have some sympathy for them in that only a very small portion of the Fairways site would be lost to the development but they should have done a better job of arguing that point and that seems to be where the application fell down. The point about sledging though is ridiculous
  16. Our accounts for the last few years have been a shitshow with consistent ongoing concerns about the club as a viable business. The wolves have been kept from the door with the proposed revenue from ill fated schemes as the ICT Concert Company and this battery scheme bringing in additional cash to help save the day. They've all been executed really badly and we're basically screwed as a result. I don't expect sympathy. Those in charge have acted like wankers, especially recently, when it comes to dealing with local firms and councilors. As far as I am concerned the club is reaping what they've sowed.
  17. Her comments can basically be summarised as "Build it somewhere else just not near me". Don't get me wrong, ICT have played a bit of a minter in this as well but some of those opposing the scheme are displaying classic teuchter mentality. And yes, a strange number of people really excited about a gym closing down to be replaced by a *checks notes*....bowling alley... If what fans have been told at recent supporters meetings is true then yes. If this doesn't go ahead we miss out on a lump sum of a couple of million IIRC and we are looking at part time football in the very near future if not administration as the current board will only cover our losses for so long. Obviously this sucks but on the plus side it will hopefully mean Scot Gardiner sods off for good.
  18. That Fiona Mac character on Inverness awareness seems like an absolute roaster. Completely unable to back up any of their points when challenged.
  19. Dallas threw in a holiday in January to beat out the Niners.
