  3. Little doubt that the current ridiculous proposal will fall ... but that only begs the introduction of a `better` proposal. There is also little doubt that the standard of scottish talent (and numbers) has declined consistently since the 1970`s and now the import of hundreds of foreigners to make up a little of the deficit, which still leaves even the top clubs well below the standard of UEFA competitions ... just 3,500 points earned last season and 15000 points being dropped over the next two seasons, leaving them nowhere ... and a mighty loss of cash. Economically, it is vital that `Community Clubs` have the opportunity to grow and compete; which implies that they will have `B` and `C` teams as well as Women and youths of all ages. It remains an imperative that competition is vastly improved to raise standards everywhere and that, obviously, includes `reserves` in the `pyramid` .. which needs to be much better arranged. No point people sticking their heads in the sand over `modernisation` .. as many did 30 years ago with the `junior superleague, community club and pyramid` campaign. We only get top football when both the organisation and economy is correct. At the moment, it is mostly disaster area ..
  4. `B` teams are essential throughout the `pyramid` as a means of improving the standard of all players, as well as, essential growth of clubs into the much stronger units Scotland needs. Scottish talent has fallen away sharply over decades, simply because young people cant get decent training and competition .. decline of juniors/non-leagure, with SFA and SPFL also gerrymanderin g the `pyramid` to prevent competition and access ... where Scotland is worst in Europe. I have absolutely no doubt that `reserves` in the main leagues will happen before very long.

  17. Nothing will change in Scottish Football unless people stand up and do something instead of spouting useless platitudes. The game here should never be run at the whim of `private` organisations like SPFL, Highland and Lowland ... that is why we have the worst access to competition in Europe as shown here https://www.cat22.org/access.php Campaigners tried to take SPFL and SFA to law in the 1990`s only to discover that UK Competitions law could not be applied to our small part of the overall market. Things are different now. There is a competitions class action available. That is the only way we will get change. SPFL is a massive competitive failure, destroying local standards and player production .. now forming the Womens game in their own sad image.

  23. www.CAT22.org invites clubs and individuals to form a large group to pressure SPFL into reform as a National League open to all clubs. The plan would get rid of League One, League Two, Highland and Lowland in favour of three championship regions; similar to Austrian access and other countries, with five regions and nine districts in support. Clubs currently consigned to levels 6-10, would be no lower than level 5. A Legal framework is now in place to take SPFL to court if they dont move on.
  24. The site www.CAT22.org is set up to create a large group of individuals and clubs seeking to move Scotland forward a few centuries to a similar league access to most of Europe, particularly, Austria. It would mean some West Clubs moving up to level three, more likely, levels four and five and would introduce reserves to the mainstream system. New `class action` laws are available if SPFL refuse to budge, or dither. The system envisaged would get rid of League One, League Two, Highland and Lowland in favour of a three-region Championship.A and five-region Championship.B, with nine district leagues. Likes of Darvel, Auchinleck and Hurlford could move up to level three.
