Buckie have only taken 3 points on one Saturday since February 17th, and that includes losing against Clach, Lossie and Wick. If any team is capable of crashing into the final hurdle, it's Buckie.

I was sure I'd read that they weren't running a ammy team this year but I can't find anything now, no idea where I got it from. From the Inverness and District fixture list, it looks possible that they've merged with Balloan, but I've likely got the wrong end of the stick there too..

The OP's idea has too many fixtures but I do think something more fun than the North Cup and Highland League Cup could be found, where you usually just play the same sides you play in the league, in Clach's case we nearly always get papped out in the first round by Brora, apart from the year they fielded an unregistered player for about 5 minutes, forfeited the tie after winning 3-1, and Clach went on to win the League Cup. Brora have been raging about it ever since..

I think it's just Buckie and Brechin stumbling just as Fraserburgh are getting unbeatable. I'd still put Brechin as favourites though.

I heard the similar from a Director, his main gripe was that he heard from a Cove blazer that the hospitality offered to visiting officials in the SPFL was inferior to that of Highland League clubs. This was last season, he could be in a minority and I've heard that attitudes may have changed.
