Well that's the Ayr game slotted in. So five home games and one away next. By the end of this run we know if early season excitement can realise an end of season playoff spot or was it just a purple patch. Five of the games are against teams looking to finish in the top four spots, so motivation will surely be there and hopefully bring out the best in the team and some decent supporter backing. Hopefully home momentum will get us going again. Would think we will need to pick up not less than 13 points.

Yes need to remove these streaming restrictions for lower league teams who's fans aren't likely to go to premier league games. It's a welcome income stream and classified as carbon neutral. On my visit earlier this season I fell foul of the parking restrictions caused by the cycle lane expansion. Normally a trip to Firhill would come into the 20 minutes travel category but if parking is an issue what's the best public transport option. I think ruthless is not a fair description of how he has acted. I see it as more like being honest with guys that he does not see fit in with his plans and that's football, so best they look elsewhere and for other opportunities. I am sure there will have been some sort of financial sweetener, but as annual income is surely based on basic plus appearance plus wins etc you would not stay where your not wanted. All in all Dougie has shown he has got what it takes. Lyon is a different project, I think has has something to offer but really needs to take and understand what Dougie wants in a player. So I feel he is on his last opportunity at Cappielow. I am sure the rest of the squad know what he wants and likely outcome if they don't deliver.

Having watched Morton for 55 years and known the frost danger at stand side I was very concerned seeing the weather forecast. The big question is were the covers down or did the Rae's keep them! Lucky QOS BIL text me to say game is off as I was just about to set off.
