  1. Sorry that was the deal maker to get PL teams to accept a playoff game. Taking a step back playoffs have been good for maintaining supporter interest. Teams might be out the championship winning race but have a wild card if they make the playoffs. Interesting analysis of playoff outcomes and having eight years data adds substance to the argument. Yes, being fourth you don't realy merit getting up. So we will add this data to our match day team talks and set 3rd as the least acceptable finish for the Ton.
  2. I am all done with this PC shit. The team currently paying your wages is the team and fans you play for. When you score, celebrate with your team mates and your current supporters. When you get a bit of flack from the opposition your entitled to milk any goal you score.
  3. I feel we out the race to win the title, not sure we were ever in it. But Ayr weren't that good, so confident we can make the playoffs as 3rd or 4th placed. As many have said each team will have a bad night just don't have it against the potential champions. Having recently seen all four I would say PT and Queens are the best teams, fuxk knows how we took 7 pts from Queens PK.
  4. Funny how you picked that up watching a few games. Very high % points total when McGrattan plays. Yes Grimshaw is a very good option in midfield. Dougis as manager makes the choice of who plays, where they and against who. That's what he is paid to do and has delivered, so far, this season. I felt the game was fairly even but as a contest was over after the third. The loss of Strapp is evident each week and it was good we got a replacement it's just that he has weakened the team. That being said, last night was a disappointment. Playing an injured animal and not realising the potential danger. Attracted one of our best Tuesday night turnouts even on a CL TV night. Had an off night. So up and on, the Jags on Saturday it's the Championship no certainties but playoff spot still realistic.
  5. Surely not. Golf course has posted greens off due to light frost but expect back in play by 11.00
  6. Does McAlister not play for Ayr anymore? But on the Dodds schooling lessons please add squeal out loud like a pig stimulating extreme pain.

  8. Having been in construction management and design for 40 years and listened to criticism of the local Glasgow council's direct labour arm, City Building, I fear the management team would have been better advised on using them for the project. I think you will find with their alleged less than 100% efficiency levels the project might have been behind programme but would definitely have been ready for the end of last season. I am sure QP fans more than understand that, but they thank you for your concern.
  9. OK help me out here what the #### does your handle stand for? GM just so fits with you being one of us. Or is it some higher level code.
  10. After all the effort we have put in to hold back QP and give you lot a chance expect you to root for us again .
  11. As I conceded earlier. So next time don't get into that time wasting outfit as refs take it on board and make decisions that haunt the perpetrators. Not normally as direct as deleting a goal but like the Hamilton game last year where he gave the Ton some fergie time to find an equaliser.
  12. Well more than happy with that effort and game outcome. Right beside our penalty claim, sorry a no all day, our man was going down before the tackle went in. 4 v 0 at half time, so Queens Park have jokers in their supporter pack as well. I think 3 v 2 would be a good call. Eze penalty, great attact on ball with everything ending up in the net, great goal. But rightly disallowed as a penalty for QP constant second half time wasting. Thought Queens are the best team we have played after their Christmas upgrades, the league is theirs to win unless they shit it. But they are there to be taken if you attack them. Before anyone jumps in to attack my observations, I reserve the right to change my comments once the UHD game package is released.
  13. Remember it well. Wasn't a push though but a dubious arm/hand ball v Ton at Cappielow on BBC Scotand. So it's likely some ref decisions will impact on who gets to the top. Need big team Dundee out of it before that happens. Dear QP win Saturday and it's catch us if you can. Can't see any team winning more than 5 games in last 10 fixtures.
  14. Sad news passed him coming down from the car park on Saturday. Just started following the Ton after he left, but his mark will never leave Cappielow. RIP
  15. Breaking news Morton are coming on Saturday and I will be there, but my hope of getting to Hampden this year have been totally undone by the extensive rebuilding works ( well for the time it is taking they must be extensive) Yes, looks like Dundee have been found out and a win for Queens might just put you out of distance of the chasing pack who will be fighting each other and dropping points. A further bit of form information, we are happy to play top four opponents as our failure this year is a poor record against the two bottom teams.
  16. Saturday is big, get behind the team. As a side show the Morton lottery is nearly paying £12,000 for four numbers get a bit of that as well.
  17. Good point there but instead of a one off-night you seem to be going on a run of them.
  18. Funny didn't think it had been his forte. But probably been conservative with a lack of suitable backup. Great to see his options improve and ability to change games what a difference a player makes.
  19. This is a decision that should be taken before the season commence. Not sure about the change in teams as only Morton and Inverness as Championship residents. The others seem to come and go. Yes Falkirk went but don't seem to be coming back anytime soon.
