  1. Yes So all the fines for players / clubs are to be paid back, all season tickets to be refunded, all sponsors to get their money back etc etc..... do you not think clubs would all be in financial ruin? there will be very little clubs left
  2. I think if no promotion happens in the lowland/Eos leagues it’s a total mockery of the pyramid system, teams entered into this and have to get licences to be part of the SFA to get into lowland so why should the whole system be promotions in the top leagues and not in the lower leagues. surely there must be a same across the board situation or surely the pyramid system and SFA Licence system is flawed and unworkable. mad for the lowland league and EOS leagues not being together on this again is totally puzzling, isn’t there member of each organisation on each other’s boards ?? it’s like having 6 children and only giving Xmas presents to 4 of them !
  3. So your not happy to shorten this season, but your happy to shorten next season ?? I don’t think anyone, throughout the whole world will play catch up later, it’s happening all over the world and UEFA will sanction it next. promotion and relegation is another conversation for a few weeks time but I personally think finish this one now. There’s a whole lot of subjects to be raised if null and voided that’s for sure and it all involves money which involves legality and no club will want to be part of, who are struggling at the moment with no games and income, not to mention players contracts etc !
  4. Are you living on planet mars !! We have schools closing till sept, we have high street multi million pound businesses going out of business with 100,000’s of jobs going, we have thousands dying and you want to finish a season. when ?? ??
  5. So your saying Liverpool should not win the title, Celtic shouldn’t win the title, Dundee Utd shouldn’t win the title and so on and so on! All these teams would never have been caught you can’t just null and void a season, you crazy?? What about sponsors/tv companies wanting monies back and then voiding contracts with associations, what about player and clubs fines being refunded to clubs, what about prize monies can’t be divided up, my point is a whole lot of clubs would go bust and out the game as well as a lot of associations if null and voided. Any the above is only a percentage of a list of other things that would come into question , season tickets, qualification for future cups etc etc ! Deluded man !
  6. And of course your biased view would nothing to do with your main rivals being top and you not. I think you would have a different view if you were in the BU position right now.
  7. You can’t just void a season. ! It’s as simple as that ! Either it’s played to a finish and the delaying or scrapping of next season but you can’t just scrap a season with a couple of months to go and throw it away! So many different issues with that being sponsors /season tickets/budgets/ contracts prepaid sponsors /licensing etc etc and the list goes on. Nothing of this is done for next season so the scrapping of that or delaying there is no issue. Either that promote who’s at top and no relegation. Means that the best team so far gets promoted and make leagues bigger with more to go down from leagues next season. Scrapping isn’t an option
  8. So you are saying that null and void the season and pay players by honouring their contracts ?? I’m sorry but no business could sustain that, and all clubs are run like mini businesses these days. That’s like telling Tesco to pay all their staff for the next 4 month but not sell another thing in their stores ! Simply can’t happen, there will be no clubs left to compete next year except amateur teams who don’t pay wages on a contract. You have clubs who have budgeted on a season basis and some clubs who have took the view to up their budget to get where they want to go. I hear klopp ranting about this but try asking the money man at Liverpool the same question. Klopp will still look for his wages at the end of the month. What happens if sky turn around and say we can only pay 2/3’s of the money due to clubs cause they can’t show another game, there would be clubs going bust all over the place. If course we need to look after health and safety of everyone but measures need to be put in place like any other business to protect clubs as well.
  9. What a load of tosh !! The season can’t be declared null and void. Clubs are run like businesses and you can’t just void a season. Things have changed from War time. The season surely must be completed whether that is delayed until after the peak or not. The SFA will have to change rules re out of contract players due to unforeseen circumstances and play when it’s safe to play. Therefore delay the start of next season. I’m sure that’s what the senior leagues will have to do as well.
  10. Damn meant to listen to that interview last night !!! Anyone hear it ?
  11. Always someone trying their best to get one over others eh?! very sad !! why not concentrate on the support of your own team and maybe your junior team in the hope they can turn it around. im sure if you ask nicely and all above board as you say the BU could lend you lot a player if ya need it !
  12. I’m actually intrigued of the contributed improvements that the junior club had made to the ground? As he seems to know everything ? So he should have no problem in naming them ?
  13. By the rate you lot are going yours could take over yours next year
  14. So are clubs, and let’s be honest is very much business like run, supposed to continually take the increased yearly costs on the chin and still offer the same or improved service, ie gas/electricity/fuel costs/material costs etc etc. Unfortunately that’s how businesses get into trouble. I can think of 2 price increases in the last 10 - 15 years which probably equates to £15 per annum on someone who goes to every home game.
  15. It entails that the most supporters at home are our home supporters and they decided to the entrance money to not only try and help their club off the park in improvements but put something back to hopefully help them on the park also. they haven’t or didn’t make that decision based on opposing supporters. you also commented on old adage about being “a bigger team” which IMO is a lot of crap, they (fans/members) chose that option to help their club as they are the ones that would be paying it 15 times in a season not the once that an opposing team comes and pays an extra £1.
  16. No I will say again ! No the members of the club (ie the fans) chose that at their agm. it’s called supporting your club at home and these people decided that was the best option for supporting their club
  17. No the members of the club (ie the fans) chose that at their agm. it’s called supporting your club at home and these people decided that was the best option for supporting their club
  18. The big boy Kieron certainly likes to moan eh lol ! if he took that out his game he would be a much better player, because he actually stops playing to moan. Your right Gemmill is a miss, but yesterday there was also 6 first team players not starting so wasn’t a true reflection on the game IMO, played on a surface that cut up badly so not a lot of football could be played on it.
  19. Might take Max next time - he applies every time anyways. That’s like Jurgen Klopp applying for the Accrington Stanley job !
  20. Agreed ! Done a lot of good work and very decent setup ! Well done
  21. Linlithgow game off ????? Even scrounged covers from Boness United what I hear !!
