Indonesia has a massive population and football is loved and played there by many... but they don't develop kids properly for several reasons including widespread (hard) child labour. Singapore is culturally & socially different and kids will get good quality physical education there and will also have access to European style coaching. Copa Del Rey finals have been played neutrally at the homes of Real Madrid and Barcelona in recent years with those teams participating in the final and Atletico are likely to have said honour soon enough as well... that's a more prestigious trophy than our national cup and the teams involved all considerably bigger than any teams likely to play at a final against Aberdeen in Aberdeen. Hampden is a shit stadium, easily the worst league ground in Glasgow when it comes to watching a game of football... and even if you live in Glasgow, getting to it is a pain in the arse.
