  1. At least you have finally admitted you are wrong. Gilmour was told he had to go out on loan. He was then dropped from the first team squad and then he was sold for a small fee. If you don't see this as being pushed out the door then fair enough.
  2. Yeh Spurs are brutal to watch just now. They have some great players but in the big games Conte sets them up like a bottom 3 team. If it continues they will be lucky to finish top 6.
  3. Tuchel said: "We had high hopes and he played for us in the first half-a-year when I was at Chelsea, played some important matches for us and looked for a new challenge that did not go so well for him with Norwich. "We expected more, he expected more so it was like, without pointing a finger, but it is difficult also for him and for us to not succeed, to not play at Norwich, to be relegated and then suddenly be a central midfielder for Chelsea and competing for top four and for every title. "There's a huge step in between so we were looking. The ideal solution would have been maybe that he goes again on loan as the concurrence is huge for us in central midfield and we felt like he is not the age where he can live again with five or seven or eight matches during a whole season to fulfil his own potential so ideally it would have been another loan. Billy did not want to go on loan, it was a no-go for him so in the end we agreed to a sale." https://www.football.london/chelsea-fc/news/tuchel-billy-gilmour-transfer-chelsea-24921840 Certainly no hate from me. I think he is a great player. I am just pointing out that you are wrong.
  4. You make it out as if Glimour was in control of this situation when he clearly wasn't. He returned for pre-season and was told he wasn't part of Tuchels plans for the coming season and would have to go back out on loan. He refused to go on loan and was subsequently dumped into the youth squad for pre-season. Chelsea then sold him for a relatively small fee. He was essentially pushed out of Chelsea.
  5. Hopefully you are correct and it is just a fitness issue. If he can't come on for 5 minutes after training with a club for 2 months, he must be very unfit!
  6. Has he started any games for them though?. It's just a bit strange they wouldn't even chuck him on for the last 5 minutes against Forest. Next 2 games are against Man City and Chelsea so it will be interesting to see if he gets any game time there.
  7. Is he just not match fit or does the manager not think he is good enough? Tuchel has been quoted recently saying he expected much more from Gilmour. Norwich didn't seem to think much of him and now he can't get into a struggling Brighton side. He is still young but he needs to get to a point soon where he is playing regular football and playing well.
  8. This game is a complete waste of everyone's time. We should just play fringe/youth players and save ourselves for the Morten game.
  9. Spurs broke their transfer record for Modric. Far more than Brighton paid for Gilmour and that was 14 years ago. Comparing these signings and comparing Gilmour to Modric in any way is a bit silly.
  10. yeh true but just not sure it's worth taking the risk
  11. Proper bitter wee diddy team interview from Coyle there. Oh dear
  12. No idea but when I search for these tickets on the Barcelona website it says an identification document will be requested at entrance. Then various other websites I found state "UEFA rules dictate that foreigners cannot buy tickets for the home team". It's obviously in place to stop away fans trying to get into the home end if not enough away tickets are available. Funnily enough, if I am willing to spend £300 a head for hospitality, I would not have any entry problems.
  13. And some of these weegie tinkies on here thought they would get 3 points today
  14. Was hoping to get tickets for the Barcelona v Inter Champions League game next month but I read that as a foreigner I can't get a ticket for the home end as per UEFA regulations. Does anyone know if this is strictly enforced? as in everyone has to present id at the gate?
  15. Forest have been so naive in this game. Lots of pressing and huff and puff but hit on the break at ease. Harry Kane v Scott McKenna ffs
  16. That Swiss mob were shite. Not as shite as Hertz right enough. But still shite.
  17. Indeed. Should be a good season. Arsenal look great and Spurs have been decent. Hope it's a closer league than just Man City and Liverpool.
  18. Well I suppose time will tell. Jesus is Arsenals big signing and big hope. Richarlison is a back up. Jesus is nowhere near the level of Kane and Son.
  19. Well it worked today. Kane and Son were well off it. When that's the case Richarlison can do a job. If Jesus is off it, Arsenal have nothing.
