  1. Incredible snooker from Ronnie in those last few frames.
  2. So who will Sting feud with then? if it is indeed true that he will be the surprise the WWE has for today.
  3. Yeah, like keeping a currency union, remaining in the EU and with same conditions as the UK, the UK deficit being higher than Scotlands, polls having Yes at 45% etc... Oh wait, that was someone else wasn't it?.... Never mind.
  4. Alex Salmond said on the Andrew Marr show that Yes was up at 45% now. What poll was that?....
  5. Congratulations Glasgow Rangers.

Why have they paid some of their debts back?

  6. Excellent documentary. I'm glad Insane Championship Wrestling is getting more attention. Should ensure even better crowds not that the crowds weren't already impressive. The Grado vs Colt Cabana entrances for their match is on Youtube and the atmosphere is electric. Who would have thought a wrestler entering the arena to a Madonna song would be so over with the crowd? And yet, its a genius idea as the crowd know the words and sing along.
  7. The Raw after Wrestlemania always needs an exciting finish..... So... I reckon Daniel Bryan will beat Triple H. Then Batista will win the championship at Wrestlemania, only for Bryan to win the belt the following day.
  8. And yet, the Nationalists will no doubt say support for Scottish Independence is still gathering momentum.
  9. Smackdown wasn't very good this week. (The last few Raw's have suffered also with the lack of Lesnar and CM Punk) Why has Emma been called up to the main roster instead of Paige? That segment with Emma/Santino and Summer/Fandango was a complete waste. Surely a wrestling match between Paige and Summer would have been a better choice? Ridiculous.
  10. My mistake. But aside from the pedantic response, the point still stands.
  11. I'd expect a No of around 60%-65% when its all said and done. They are Union Flags, and why would there be none to wave around? Are the SNP going to burn them?..... Anyhoo, I note tomorrows Daily Mail is claiming Lloyds TSB is moving from Edinburgh to England due to uncertainty in the independence campaign. No surprise. Well, the only surprise is that they think the Yes could win. Still, not good for jobs in Scotland.
  12. Wrestling has not been good this past few weeks. No CM Punk now and Brock has not been on either.
  13. Rangers would have got more points than Celtic in that Champions League group.

  14. You may have quoted the point you disagreed with but the answer to your question was in the second point I provided. Also, why are you trying to find a link between two separate points I made? There doesn't have to be one. It was two different reasons.
  15. Why did you only quote one of the reasons I gave? The other reason was.... "People who want change are more likely to talk about independence than those who are content with the Union, which of course would mean using things such as forums to voice their anger" It makes perfect sense but you are well within your rights to disagree.
  16. What was it that made you change to a Yes?
  17. The answers were supposed to be in the White Paper. I'm not sure what else the Salmond can do to convince people. Were you disappointed/uninspired by the reaction to the White Paper?
  18. If its true that support for independence is only at 27% then I'd agree that will improve. I reckon a 65/35 victory. Its fair enough pointing negatives out but with no viable solution how can it help the Yes cause?
  19. I think I am, However, I respect your right to an opinion also.
  20. Absolutely. The rise of Ukip proves that but the debate has to include factual/definite solutions to current discontent, otherwise is doesn't get very far. People don't like a gamble, a leap of faith or whatever when question marks remain over financial security. Some can call it "fear" if they want but its a very understandable apprehension to have. Salmond wants people to vote with their heart but with so much on the line they'll still vote with their head.
  21. The Question Time debate the other day was a victory for the No campaign. The Unionists got their points across well but really didn't have to say much as David was delegating the questions to Reader who does the Yes campaign No favours whatsoever. You could sense Sturgeon and Harvie cringing with every answer she gave, lol.
  22. What poll would that be? the pie and bovril poll? I'm not sure why forum polls usually lean towards a Yes vote but I do have a theory as to why... The Yes vote seems to be very popular with people who rely on state benefits and a lot (not all) of people who spend their day posting on forums are more likely to be receiving government benefits. That, and people who want change are more likely to talk about independence than those who are content with the Union, which of course would mean using things such as forums to voice their anger. Just a theory. I may be wrong.
  23. Well, if Unionists have nothing left to argue why is the Yes campaign failing and not at the "40% by December" you predicted it would be?
  24. I predicted it wasn't going to match up to the hype. As Salmond answered/dodged every question for weeks with "the answers will be in the white paper" it was almost inevitable it would be a disappointment because most of us know an independent Scotland is nothing more than a leap of faith. The mainstream media really tore it apart also and ironically it was probably No's strongest week since the campaign began.
  25. Can't be encouraging for the Yes campaign that after the SNP prospectus has been rolled out it has failed to generate any additional support for their cause.
