     he's just a massive weirdo

There's something about his face that always reminded me of Eugene Tooms, that baddie from the X Files.

Look, I'm not saying Adams is a cannibalistic, shape-shifting serial killer who hibernates for decades at a time by feasting on human livers to sustain himself. But would that explain a few things? Certainly.

At this point it has to be a superpower St Mirren fans possess to time these kinds of posts right before we go on world-beating runs.

Fair play, that was some result today. Coincidentally, I just had a Facebook memory from six years ago today, and your points level was similar after the same number of games.

You'd have to say the likely playoff opposition is much weaker this time around.

Anyone on here think that a factor in KVV decision might’ve been the uncertainty that Robinson might not be at St Mirren next week? I personally don’t think Aberdeen should go down that route but I definitely think it might’ve had a part of the decision making process for KVV.

It's been a good couple of years since Aberdeen appointed a St Mirren manager with a long recent losing streak in his back pocket, so maybe they will be tempted again.

I can't see them doing it, but it did make me laugh at the time that we ended up with the superior manager out of that whole episode. What's also funny is that if Aberdeen would NEVER habe recruited Robbo when he was at Morecambe.

I think they'll see what candidates make themselves available before trying to poach from within this league.

want to manufacture some sort of forced rivalry with us.

Two things on that: firstly, we seem to get accused of that a lot, often by Hearts fans which is cute given they're the ones nursing the pathetic 40-year grudge. But perhaps there's something in it, and it's likely to have something to do with our actual rivals being utterly shite for unbroken decades. You're in a similar boat, so maybe just get with it.

Secondly, actually, my Grampa always used to talk about Killie as being rivals, mainly based on the traditional New Year games. Not saying he was correct either way, but I don't think this is a new thing.

January windows, as a rule, are a bit shite.

The two that stick in my mind are Dundee United breaking the bank to stay up at our expense, and us punting Kenny McLean to go down (at our own expense....Gentlemen's Agreementgate).

I appreciate there are many others of different flavours, but those two are the most memorable for me on many respects.

There was the mad Jack Ross one to keep us up. Total squad reshuffle.

Yip they’d have him back in a heartbeat.
Slight negative - hints of a long ball reputation?

I think the challenge might be getting him to come up there. Doing well at Aberdeen could absolutely take his career onto the next level, but doing badly in Scotland has put a bullet in the head of a lot of managers that appeared to be promising.

Glass, Goodwin and Robson with Aberdeen; Ross, Heckingbottom & Moloney with Hibs; most of the same guys + Mellon and Fox at United.

Maybe they're all just shite, maybe they're all just bad appointments. Or maybe managing in Scotland is a fucking tough gig and you're more likely to fail than not. If you're Eustace, are you looking at a list of similar-ish guys who have tried it up here and are now nowhere to be seen and/or in the Scottish Championship?
