Great point on the Motherwell thread, given Killie's form and the lack of contribution from KVV, it looks more like they signed him to stop him going to us rather than really wanting him in their team.
He has an ongoing back issue. You probably dodged a bullet missing out.

Bobby Goals star man!
Torino & Venezia are the latest two clubs to register an interest in the star man.

We are apparently in for a Liverpool LB that is not Owen Beck but with an apparent equally high potential for next season. Unlikely, but possibility that could be Luke Chambers. What was he like for you lads?
He was mightily impressive with Killie and really bought into his loan move.
He even gave up his place in the England U20 World Cup squad after talks with the FA & Liverpool to stay and fight relegation with Killie.
I'd be very surprised if he came back north of the border tbh.

The German side I keep an eye out for, Kaiserslautern, have had a similar rollercoaster. From top end 1. BL down to flailing around near the bottom of 3. BL, promotion last year, smashing it until the winter break, now unable to buy a win and likely to go back down again.
Just the small matter of a DFB Pokal Final this year though! (v Leverkusen)
Pity your quite far away, The Kadikoi in Killie will be decked out in the K town colours for the final, you'd be among friends unfortunately all the German ones will be in Berlin that night

Does that mean if Killie go tits up the Hotel can keep all its honours?
Sevco approve of this post.
I bet that sounded funny in your head.

Yes it is, clubs still has a small stake in it.
It's also owned by the same person who owns the football club, so saying it has nothing to do with Killie would be daft.
A 1% stake is hardly connected at the hip when the hotel is a PLC. Both club and hotel are run as seperate entities.

Are you even a serious professional football club if you haven't at least dipped your toe into the overnight accommodation and hospitality market
The Park Hotel is has 50 beds whilst the Tynecastle Hotel is only has 25 beds which gives Killie a definite advantageThe Park is the only four star hotel in Kilmarnock making it a domestic giant like Bayern Munich. Tynecastle has four stars but that's mid table respectability in the more competitive capital
And the Skyline restaurant has 5 Stars on trip advisor one more than "Blues" so hope is not lost for the capital
Weighing everything up I'm predicting a draw
The Park Hotel is nothing to do with Kilmarnock FC.

Thankfully no bigots teams can win the league in Paisley.
My sympathy for any other team and their fans who might have to watch 1 of them doing so.
I wish we could say the same but we've got Celtic at RP on the the anniversary of Tommy Burns death and the possibility of clinching the title.
On the plus side, I can see the govan conspiracy theorists having an absolute meltdown if it happened.

Seeing folk pick Livi to finish bottom when we've finished preseason scoring 16, conceding 2 and losing none is really something. We're far stronger than we were last season and have returned to Brexit ball/physical football where we don't concede.

Aye. Not clear to me why they don't just put the OF game right after the split and get it all announced.
Seems painfully simple. Am I missing something?
They have to bow to their masters at Sky Sports

Literally none of that has anything to do with my post, but Killie fans got to humblebrag about everything when things are going well I suppose
Nothing to do with bragging, you said owners have a vision of making money, I'm pointing out thats not always true in our case.

Your average prospective football owner wants a story to fall in love with and a vision of how to make money. To those who don't look deep into history or care if you've got 2000 fans or 3000, we'll be a good option.
Unless your lucky enough to have fans as owners like we have in Bowie and McLeish
Sticking their hands in their pockets in the summer to fund the new main stand aircon system, new LED floodlights and the new fanzone behind the Moffat stand which involves extensive remodelling of that area.
While Billy Bowie Special Projects are still waiting on the final planning permission for the new training ground to get the ball rolling and eventually back to grass.

Do you think Deas has played in front of Ndaba for the last couple of weeks because McInnes is trying to get prepared for next year?
Did Ndaba not pick up a knock between the Aberdeen & St Mirren game and only made the bench against saints. As said on my previous post, I just think DM doesn't want to change the starting XI since.

If what you're paying the likes of Deas and Kennedy is right, then you'd have a chance if next Summer tbf.
McInnes said in his pre match presser he wanted to keep most of the loan signings for next season, I suspect that'll include a conversation with Bournemouth for Will Dennis.

Surely Killie would have made St Mirren aware we would sell it out considering tickets were only being made available to season ticket holders and even then on a first come first served basis with no general sale.
