  1. Wonder why it is that we Killie fans don't regularly use this thread the way other sets of fans do with their respective threads? Could be a result of having KillieFC forums, but imagine most other teams have similar.
  2. Yeah, easy peasy goal to score. I mean, Gogic is known for being easy to push around like that.
  3. In my view we played 3 at the back in the first half and 4 in the second. Bbc match report agrees. Either way, St Mirren got rightly pumped.
  4. Narrator: They did not keep playing like this. One of my favourite and underrated things about today was St Mirren stealing our traditional first half end from us at the coin toss. Meant the St Mirren fans got a cracking view of the 5 goals and the "get it up ye" celebrations. Lovely.
  5. As abject a first half performance as we've seen in a while. Really annoyed at the manner of goals we lost. Felt the team lacked confidence and I don't know if it came from the two early balls Dennis doesn't come for. Where we're normally solid we just seemed shaky, and the two goals were pathetic - corners where the other team just showed more desire and alertness to pounce on balls in the box. Felt half-time was a bit doom and gloom from everyone, summed up the team being booed off. Don't get me wrong, I had a couple of negative shouts myself and it definitely wasn't good. But my pal was texting me saying we'd been shite for a while now, and that sort of revisionism was rife around me (the squad isn't as good as we thought it was at the end of Jan) - we don't have to go back far at all for great performances vs Rangers, Aberdeen and Celtic, and a good result against Livi. I felt we just needed to stay calm and back the team in the middle of a wobble. Two poor games followed by a poor half of football - but I did feel McInnes could right us at HT. Couldn't believe Vassell came back out. I'd spent all first half moaning about how overdue he was a spell out the team. Spent so much time today rolling about, captured beautifully when he fell over at a ball he should have won, spent too long on the ground, then gave away a foul getting back up. I wonder if Derek took him aside and told him we needed a BIG captain's performance from him. Go lead by example and drag us back in to. Christ, it was like someone had stuck rocket fuel up his arse. He was tremendous second half, a proper captain. We were growing back in to it but nothing seemed to be coming off - Armstrong and Watkins both good chances to score. Felt it might not be our day, but said to my dad around 55-60 mins, we need to score now so we've time to get back in to it. Well, after getting our first, we just went for it hell for leather, and St Mirren just collapsed. Vass shows good determination for the first. Watkins wins the pen brilliantly and it was an interesting contest between someone who never seems to miss pens, vs a keeper and ex teammate who we've seen save so many. The third one is the one that kills it for the Saints for me, a cracking big header and I wonder when we see it back if Hemming feels he sold the jerseys at that point - maybe I'm being harsh but I was surprised and delighted it ended up in the net. Superb goal from big Vass for the fourth. Then David Watson, the boy who only scores tremendous goals, pops up with goal of the season. This moment, when that thug Gogic gets absolutely done, *chef's kiss* I'm gonna watch the Sportscene highlights more than once, that's for sure. Beautiful stuff the day, made all the better with the Forever & Ever podcast live show - a really cracking afternoon and good to meet @stevieKTID the handsome b*****d.
  6. Again that... that's just not what I said. Step away from the Internet and go enjoy your night wee man.
  7. I mean, not only is it obvious it's what he wanted to anyone who watched the game, but he literally said as much after the last game.
  8. Very poor performance. First half we let it turn in to a battle which is what Warnock wanted. We got our goal playing football. Thought second half he would send us out to keep the ball on the deck, read them the riot act half time. Instead we were worse. Goals we lost were so shite. Ball over the top that Findlay completely fails to deal with. Wright poor covering. Dennis far too weak on the initial shot. Absolutely dreaming at the Hoilett throw in that comes in for the Shinnie goal.
  9. Lovely stuff, a very well executed topic title and opening post, 10/10. GIRFU them.
  10. Most Killie fans will tell you that the biggest 180 we ever did on a player was Alan Power. He came to us after playing for a Lincoln City team who'd been on a great FA cup run. We had high hopes, he made his debut in a loss vs Ayr United, and many of us thought he would never feature again. Was written off by all of us as fat, shite, not up to it, off the pace of Scottish fitba. Disappeared for a month or two and was reckoned to be the answer to a trivia quiz in about 10 years or so. Came back in to the team when Clarke was appointed and went on to win player of the season for the next two years in a row.
  11. Before the game, Rodgers said this is "where the fun begins" You know, I think he was right.
  12. Scottish fitba is unrivalled for hilarity and drama. Would be fantastic to see a big team like Aberdeen spunk so much money and still go down. It's a yes please from me.
  13. What's up with the security being total cocks today? A guy thrown out for a smoke bomb, after the Rangers away end at Dens earlier in the season looked like fucking Hiroshima. Young team getting pestered constantly about where they were putting their flags pre match. Half time they're downstairs throwing folk out and doing constant checks in loos etc. Do they just no like the Killie?
  14. Not sure about that. In control until Dennis went down with a niggle. McInnes got a chance to speak to the players and we then improved leading up to the goal. Joe Wright been solid after a poor start. Deas a brick wall too. Been better the last 15 mins of the half. These games against Dundee always seem to ebb and flow. Did I dream we were sitting in 11th when the first goal went in? Some of the shouts in the first 20 mins were mental. Having an amazing season, calm doon ffs
  15. Said after few mins the shape isn't working and he has to change it. Hurting us down sides
