Think the changes are justified so far

Fair result I think. I don’t think either team every really dominated for any major spells. Absolutely horrific refereeing for both sides. Worst decision for me of the day was when Dillon (I think?) was “fouled” in his own box towards the end by collapsing over to protect the ball , and the officials bought it noticed quite a bit of criticism for the subs for us but to be honest I thought the subs actually changed the game in our favour. Penalty on Kennedy for me - that’s a foul anywhere else on the pitch.

Pretty much agree with this. I don't believe its a bad statement overall but my concern now is that a very, very daft segment has triggered enough folk (quite rightly) and will distract from the main point of it (i.e we're skint). At least Falkirk daft have got an early contender for Falkirk dafty of the week @RC55 FFC

Really want to see more of Lawal. He’s not played that many minutes at all and that’s twice he’s hit the post, scored one and at least one assist. Also it was great to see Craig Sibbald is still a bairn

I’ll be happy with a better performance than the Dundee game.

A shame that Kabia has been so poor. I thought he would have enough to make the step-up but then it wasn't exactly difficult for a new player to come into a bottom-half league one team and look much better than what we already had. He won't be the last "skillful" player to go up to the championship and fail miserably.

Not a match for the nerves. Fiery game and both teams looked fucked at the end having put a lot into it. Was Henderson’s tackle for the penalty as crazy as it looked from the away end?

Chalmers is the only other I think. It feels there’s usually a better mix of players to have played for both as you say.

So I’ve watched this back and most people seem to agree with your view. I’m not convinced to be honest, and I think it’s quite a difficult decision to make. In slow motion, Mendy is travelling forward and his momentum is stopped by the West Ham player hitting him with his shin, so has the goalkeeper been obstructed in some way? But then I suppose you could also make the argument that you make in that Mendy fouls the attacker, although probably the attacker was not very wise to stay on his feet. Is it just a 50/50 tackle and did Mendy come out worse? I genuinely don’t know what the rules of the game say - does the keeper get the benefit of the doubt or is that just a myth? It seems basically everyone thinks it’s not a foul so more than likely my judgement is wrong

Tbf our new keeper is from Nottingham Forrest U21s and you’d have to think that’s the sort of players the statement is referring to. Also his da’ played for us but I don’t know if that’s relevant or not.

Even when you slow it down it’s hard to say for definite that it hits Oliver’s hand but my overall feeling is that it does, which was also my feeling at the time as well from behind the goal. He raised his arms down from his side to be up in front of him which really doesn’t help his cause. On a side note, listening to Lewis Connolly at 0.25 speed is some laugh You might be right but I think it was pretty wishful hoping Henderson would slot into a role like that. Hetherington is what he is, but at least he actually plays the role. McGlynn got that one wrong IMO but don’t know if it would have changed much. Either way, neither are Stephen McGinn.

We were quite poor tonight although that was down to Dundee just being a much better, and more complete team than us. We won’t play anyone remotely like them this season. It was another free hit and unfortunately we missed, but there is no real damage done. Felt bad for big Liam Henderson tonight - he should never have been shoehorned in as some McGinn replacement.

Maybe Mackie is better defensively than McCann at LB but that doesn’t stop him hoofing random passes to nobody, which he has a habit of doing. I like Mackie but he was poor yesterday.

Well deserved in the end. We had to hang on at the start of the second half, but did well to do so. Big Coll Donaldson was my MOTM. He is a great leader and has bags of composure under pressure. Fair fucks to Alegria - I still don’t think he is the answer in the long run for us but he gives absolutely everything and deserved his goal, which was a beauty. He milked the celebration big time too which was good to see. Defensively aside I thought QOTS showed flashes of being quite good to be honest. They won’t be far away if they can tighten up.

McCann is a better left back than Mackie IMO. Algeria is painful to watch but he’s better than Ompreon so I guess that’s something. We were pretty good today but Peterhead were absolutely horrific.

That’s very unfair IMO. I agree that some people have been unreasonably defensive of certain situations at the club but it is nothing like bullying or anything close to it, at least based on what is posted in the forum. If you have hard evidence of bullying I’m sure we would all be open to seeing it. I do believe there should be less of the “why don’t you volunteer and fix it yourself” stuff, and more of a understanding that the vast majority of folk (unless I’m being totally naive) are not pointing out flaws to be malicious or to discredit people at the club.
