  1. Hope we jump QS on Saturday purely for turning this into a mathematics thread for the last couple of tedious pages.
  2. Fais for that for one season as he came here young and learned the game from us? Clutching at straws though.
  3. I can honestly say I usually fear teams on a bad run coming to East End as we always seem to gift them their first win in donkeys but, no offence to Queens, I have no fear coming up against an AJ team looking to change its fortunes as the guy doesn't have it in him to tactically change anything. I always feel bad as he genuinely seems like a nice bloke but he's never a championship manager in a million years. Any manager worth their salt knows exactly how his teams are going to play every week and he doesn't have it in him to turn that around. I feel bad for Queen of the South fans being stuck with him.
  4. I'll stop you there. Both teams were poor, in the final third especially. No team was better than the other and it was an awful watch until we got the second. You certainly weren't the better side, all you done was pass it out the back four then launch it to Thompson.
  5. Thomas been anonymous and McManus very poor again. Give them five mins into the second half to improve, if not get it changed. Would be better with someone using their phone than this shit camera.
  6. Tbf it's good to be back debating football shit again! Shows we are in a decent position when we've won our last three games by two goal margins with neither striker really clicking yet.
  7. You are deluded if you think people won't make a scapegoat out of him due to his past. Just need to look back at the Pars thread on here, dafc.net and all Dunfermline social media when he signed for proof. So no I won't spare it as it's true and everyone knew if he didn't bang in the goals instantly fans would be on his back more than the other players, prime example being McManus who was just as bad as him in every game so far and both have the same goals for the season. Hopefully people get over it and let the boy find his feet back in full time football.
  8. He does a lot of unselfish work as you've mentioned above. Don't know if no one is seeing this due to having to watch from the telly angle where you tend to see about 2/3rds of the pitch, everyone is just ball watching or people couldn't wait to get on his back for his past with us/not being Kevin Nisbet but he creates a lot of space for the team. 100% will come good in front of goal but willing to let that slide for a bit when he's contributing to the team in other ways.
  9. O'haras job was to stretch the defence in behind and give McManus more space in the '10' role. When he went off McManus took up this role with Dow moving into the '10'. Would be interested to see how O'hara does with the better ball player in Dow being in behind him feeding him passes rather than McManus trying flicks and turns down blind alleys too often. I feel he will come good as his movement is very good off the ball, just needs someone to pick him out. Still only one game into the league season so let's not judge too early and give the starting eleven a proper chance to gel, friendlies and cup games haven't seen a settled lineup.
  10. Falkirk 1-0 the year we went up. Set us up for a great season. I remember Bill Leckie covered that game and he wrote something along the lines of Presley 'bringing their touchlines in to condense the play and terrify opponents, a gesture rendered pointless as Pars went out with two wingers and tore his team to shreds'. Love to see it.
  11. Don't honestly care how shit we play first half as long as we run out 2/3-0 winners every week thanking you.
  12. If anyone is bored there's currently a thread on that .net about Pars TV for overseas fans featuring the biggest meltdowns seen since Falkingham v Peterhead. Some bloke from Thailand continually claiming he pays for the volunteers petrol to away games being a personal highlight. Five minutes of fantastic reading.
  13. Murray captain and Dow vice. Best candidates for the role for me.
  14. Let's not start point scoring about real fan status when the worlds still in the shit and jobs are getting cut all over the shop.
  15. Morrison was horrific against United and never recovered from that but Smith was a different scenario. There is no issue with dropping a player for another but he was never given another chance after that. That is a complete bombing and awful man management. Can't have done the boys heed any good after the start he had made to the season to then find himself totally out of the picture through no fault of his own as his performances didn't drop in the period he was getting starts.
  16. AJ bombing Smith was a shambles given how he started that season with McManus. One of many pathetic decisions he made.
  17. Having considered this further and noting the passive seethe from the League One three standed outfit I am fully behind this.
  18. Think the shit we went through in the not to distant past has a fair few of us airing on the side of caution with anything like this however with the current board being heavily involved with the whole process and being true Pars men we have to believe they wouldn't sign us away to any randoms. Still shitting my breeks though.
  19. Yes but at what potential cost of it goes tits up and they decide to pull the plug once they are majority owners and have the keys to East End?
  20. Buzzing to screw over the local face painter again (one for the Raith boyz)
