Just to clarify I’m not belittling mental health but I’m certainly never going to advocate it as an excuse to be pish at football/managing for four months straight.

If this is dragged out to the end of the season I for one will not have anything to do with Dunfermline until this board are gone. Twice they’ve made a complete c**t of things and left it far to late to rectify.

I would agree that on paper we have a better squad but McGlynn can utilise his squad to perform better as a unit than they are individually and he does this better than Crawford who does this poorly
We are signing sought after guys on two/three year deals. It doesn’t take much working out to say we are spending more than Rovers are, not to mention the German money and Nisbet cash. The point about McGlynn utilising his squad better is irrelevant as the point I am making is we should be doing far better than ‘giving them a game’ considering who we have signed.

How many people who are East End/game regulars can honestly they would watch on Wednesday if it wasn’t on telly and they had to stream it? I would say the football we are playing and entertainment value are now well lower than AJs last season. That was just a shit squad, what’s Crawfords excuse considering some of the exciting players he signed?

Said it months ago and the point still stands, how can we have a team with Thomas, Dow, McManus, O’Hara, Murray and now Banks and Wighton but never look like scoring? Has to be down to Crawford.
Also now more than ever with not actually going to matches and people having to piss about with streams this boring play is making it so easy for fans just to not bother and that’s our only income stream just now so if the board sleep walk us into another stagnation it could have massive consequences. I personally think he needs binned now before it reaches that point and tarnishes his history with the club which would be a real shame.

I guess the board have to weigh up the situation in terms of Crawford meeting their targets (whether down to us doing well or other teams doing garbage is irrelevant for this) over more and more fans not being arsed to get the streams which is happening. With the whole covid situation I guess it’s easier to keep limping along with him as the streams won’t be bringing in anywhere near what gate money would and fans disapproval over the stagnant displays won’t be felt either vocally or in the pocket as badly. Not that I feel that’s a valid reason to keep him on but going by past experiences with this board I would imagine they will view it like this, they don’t tend to act until the inevitable damage to the season has already been done.

This is the most credible comment I’ve read regarding Crawford. He was brought in to improve us and honestly I don’t think he has. Recently we’ve been as bad as the shocking run that got AJ chucked. He needs to go before his legacy with the club as a player gets forgotten about and the fans begin to turn in a more vocal way.

Potter, AJ, Crawford. Who else can realistically be blamed for these continued failures? Not to mention AJ and Crawford have been dragged on for months longer than any competent employer would allow.

They did recognise themselves they needed help on the football front if I remember rightly I think that’s what McNamara was brought in for but unfortunately he fell ill. Something needs changed though clearly as it’s not working. I’m 100% aware of all they have done on the commercial side for the club but the football has to come first which be honest has been abysmal for all but really one season under AJ (two at a stretch). It’s hardly a meltdown just an honest opinion of our recent history.
