Quite a few people on the thread keen to say that the L1 will come up short against 9th from the Championship but I'm not so sure. Cove's form is absolutely honking and Arbroath and Hamilton haven't looked great when I've seen them on BBC.

McGlynn better have the players right up for next Saturday. We need to regain momentum for the playoffs and 3pts would avert a title party at TFS in two weeks.

Excellent statement and gesture. The club won't get everything right all the time but when they put the fans at the forefront of decisions they won't get many wrong.

I don't think any sane Falkirk fan will be bothered about Raith 'taking over'. We'll get a small fee from the SPFL for the stadium use and the pubs in town will get an expected boost.

We're +24 and Dunfermline are +26 with us having scored 9 more. A decent position considering how leaky we were earlier in the season and the firepower we look to have now.

It's obviously a long time ago now, but I think McGlynn's time at Hearts may still put off clubs in the Premiership.

He was a bit more complimentary later on but that was a bizarre comment. It's a L1 team a game away from Hampden. Might be the only chance some of these players get to play there. I'd have Ayr as marginal favourites but both teams will be happy with that draw.

Tbh it'll probably only be one extra game if we go through on Monday. The last 8 will most likely be 6 Premiership sides plus Ayr who are going well in the Championship. I'd love another trip to Hampden but I don't see us beating any of them.

Brora (v Hearts 20/21) and Albion Rovers (v Motherwell 13/14) were both bigger odds to win their ties than Darvel. Last night is obviously up there as one of the biggest in recent history but the number of league places between the sides is a bit of a misnomer due to the recent amalgamation of the pyramid and the bottleneck at tiers 5 and 6. That Darvel side would be fine in L2 imo.

Could be a bit of a scramble for tickets. Aberdeen initially got 1,750 but that got reduced down to 1,200. The view from the away end didn't look the greatest but looking forward to it regardless.

It won't be easy but we'll still be favourites for that tie and a great chance to make the quarters.
