  1. His two match ban is in all competitions. Since Davies is out until mid-March at best, Meekings is out for the rest of the season and we’re only left with Kusunga and Inniss, there’s very little chance O’Dea will leave.
  2. Can’t believe anybody is falling for the “debt is fallen” schtick. The last set of accounts listed £1.2m, and these ones list £1.8m....
  3. A mind that is somehow emptier than his club’s bank balance & trophy cabinet.
  4. I see the trophy virgin is shiteing it at the idea of giving to charity. Bit rich to talk about financial sustainability when his own club drops £750k to a spam email...
  5. Hiya lads. Sorry to jump in here as a semi-lurker, but just wanted to flag up the Walking Down the Provie Road site. We launched a week or two ago and we’re basically trying to do something similar to the MFC podcast/Heart and Hand, but for the righteous club of Dundee. Dundee Barry has been very generous in providing P & B gold The Real Leigh Griffiths Blog, as well as brand new material in Dear Jocky, so there’s something there for fans of all teams... We’ve also got videos, playlists and articles, and our first podcast should go out this Thursday night, technology permitting. Anyway, the website is www.provieroadpod.com , twitter account is @provieroadpod and FB is www.facebook.com/provieroadpod . It’s just a small bunch of us for now, so don’t judge the rough and ready design too much, but all thoughts welcome. DDYB x

  7. The minute we missed the penalty, I thought we’d end up regretting it - not because of anything Thistle had done, but more because we’re so profligate it’s unreal. As much as folk will focus on Moussa’s misses, AJLS had several chances to extend the lead and didn’t take any of them. People clamouring for Haber should remember that he needs about 10 chances to score once, so he’s not necessarily the answer. Thought Curran and Kamara were excellent today - Curran’s directness was causing all sorts of problems, and it was good to see Kamara taking the ball further up the park and contributing up top. Mental that none of our midfield have scored a league goal this season, though (unless Deacon counts - hard to know how to describe him.)
  8. In that case, can I just say that I think the likes of Accies and Thistle should break the bank to bring in Hateley. Fingers crossed they don’t test our resolve for Moussa in January too, as signing him for a lot of cash could save their season...
  9. Given that the last transfer window ended up with Marc Klok signing, I'm alright with nothing happening yet.
  10. Oh, and if we do sign another LB, there's no need for Danny Williams any more. Chefter, pal.
  11. If we sign Julen's compatriot, Khalid Aucho and Demeteriou, I'd hope to see Hateley leave and Curran punted out on loan. Doesn't look as if Lewis Spence will work out, and once a few of our CBs are back fit, I could foresee Waddell going on loan to the Championship to ensure he still gets game time and experience (I imagine O'Dea, Hendry and Meekings are all ahead of him in a perfect, injury-free world)
  12. Not at all - makes a nice change for somebody who's not a St Johnstone fan to post here these days.
  13. There's one guy on Twitter who appears to be from Dublin that's really not happy about this at all. He's gone full Helen Lovejoy, asking why on earth kids should be exposed to such things as rainbow flags...
