  1. ^This is my view. Take Dipo out our team and its bottom half and maybe even relegation fodder. We need some proven additions at this level if we are aspiring for top four.
  2. I hadn't appreciated the rail network was as good as that. That's a relief.
  3. Aye, York isn't exactly close to home either though. I worry about the sports days.
  4. One things for sure, it should be box office. If it doesn't end with Bullen atop that chair belting out Ayr Ayr Super Ayr, I'd be disappointed. Were the technical issues last year not the fact they forgot to press record?
  5. My prediction for tomorrow night... "Sir, I salute your courage, your strength your indefatigability. And I want you to know that we are with you until victory, until victory, until the Premiership" A random Ayr fan (possibly Itzdrk) to Dave Smith.
  6. Aye, the English leagues are not the panacea that they think they are.
  7. I saw it as an amateur attempt at the Question of Sport style mystery guest.
  8. Aye, print is basically a redundant medium now for news. It was written before the game and published afterwards.
  9. I find it bizarre that a fellow fan tells someone who has spent money on a season ticket with no update to basically suck it up. What a nonsense, #weareunited right enough. More like #imallrightjack. What a poor attitude towards your fellow supporters. If you have bought a season ticket (in some cases months ago). You should by now expect a personalised update on the status of your ticket. You have also effectively been excluded from two events: a free friendly and the Q&A because you opted to pay in instalments rather than via one payment. I would be pissed off and you have every right to be.
  10. I haven't seen us play yet so I'm reserving judgement until Saturday. Could there be a Friyay in store with four good signings? It's the hope that kills you!
  11. It's going to be Reading at left back again this season isn't it?
  12. We're on holiday and had done well not buying junk food. I succumbed tonight and we got KFC. French KFC though so I had a Mexican Wrap which was delicious.
  13. I think this is pretty fair. I've engaged with the supporters liaison who was very good, responded to me straight away and passed my issue to the club. I then never heard anything else. Equally, I phoned the club with an issue and it was resolved immediately. I actually think I sent in an email and they phoned me back within an hour. Exceptional service. The club do a lot of good things. However, there are things which could be done better. That's true for all football clubs but it doesn't make you a bad fan for pointing it out. Ultimately, the club needs to balance its resources and prioritise them on what has the biggest impact on fan experience. The highlights seem to have been sacrificed as part of this prioritisation.
  14. I'm sure we got an announcement about new matchday highlights last season. Has there been any update? There has been no change in the quality of the output. I just looked up and the article was from last November: https://ayrunitedfc.co.uk/club-statement-match-highlights
  15. It's not even comparable but then you know that. Maybe you'll be a bit more accommodating of differing views to your own on here then, if you're willing to stomach Boab.
  16. I don't think anyone is complaining about you being appointed Robbo. For a number of reasons - You've been a true servant to the club puting in the hard work. With the online ticketing system for one. You also actually did the role for a couple of months at the end of last season. You spent multiple years in the club shop. You fancied the kit role when it was first advertised (about a year ago?) and I think you even applied. Moreover, you didn't spend 5 years denigrating the club on social media and to anyone who would listen. To then worm your way in with the new owner. That's what I take issue with wrt. Boaby boy.
