  1. The form table is pleasing viewing. 8 points from 8 games should be achievable. I think talk of top 4 is fanciful though.
  2. I quite enjoy the players giving it a GIRFUY when they score to the opposition fans. It's a bit of pantomime. It's especially apt if the player concerned has been getting pelters from the stand. The heads gone that it induces in supporters who are then whining about the ref booking said player is even better. I'm all for it!
  3. Aye, I thought Ron Dobberson had forgotten his cards. I missed him booking Maxwell.
  4. Okay, Federation Internationale des Echecs
  5. There is certainly cause for optimism and Bullen has got the players playing for the jersey and working hard. I had reservations about his judgement particularly over Adeloye not startng and playing Muirhead in midfield. However, he seems to have realised neither of these things are good. He has also turned McGinty into a competent centre half something Duffy couldn't achieve, despite his fabled defensive coaching. Bullen has now shown a willingness to change and adapt as required. It's not just plan A (ie. 4-5-1). He's also ended the hoodoos away from home in Inverness & Raith. A feat even Uncle Ian couldn't achieve. It's still early days in his tenure and we're still not safe yet but I'm certain we are in a much better place than we would have been with Jim 'Going through the motions' Duffy in charge. Long may it continue.
  6. Not even some DKB trolling interloper is going to ruin my night.
  7. I'm pleased to see us changing to 442 today. It also shows that Bullen isn't as inflexible as the two previous managers. A pretty complete performance which I thoroughly enjoyed. Glad we got a clean sheet as well. I thought some of the play between Adeloye, Ashford & Maxwell was phenomenal. I'm hoping we start to setup a bit more like that more often. We need to take the shackles off. We have enough attacking talent to cause any team in this league problems. Also, Tomi needs to start games, today put that beyond any doubt. Hopefully the experiment of benching him is over. Ashford's goal was very well taken I thought the angle was too tight and he somehow tucked it in and the ball was comfortably nestling in the sidenetting. A great finish. The league is still tight but I'm confident we can get out of this mess. It was the perfect antidote to last weeks result. Roll on the DKBs.
  8. Super Ayr Away! What a performance, my first away game in person since Morton Away in December. So pleased I went and we played 2 strikers as well! Very very pleasing.
  9. This is some more good news. An utterly punitive decision in the first place.
  10. I see Monkey Tennis is being Monkey Tennis. Quelle surprise.
  11. Match preview says only Hewitt is out so looking good for avoiding Aero in midfield. I'm feeling optimistic on that note. I hadn't realised its been so long since we won in Kirkcaldy (2011). Another away hoodoo for Bully and the team to end.
  12. That's a tough one. It's not uncommon to make two blunders in a row. The shock/tilt from thinking about the first blunder can cause you to not give enough thought to the next move. It happens to all of us. Very similar to the old adage about buses.
  13. Not with Aero in midfield. I don't think I could bare watching that. I'm travelling to Kirkcaldy tomorrow so will be seething if Aero is in midfield.
  14. If one of McInroy, Murdoch or Dempsey is out then we go 442 with Adeloye & Ashford up top. Anything else and we're playing for a draw at best.
  15. I think I'm the Russians in that analogy. Not sure how I feel about that...
  16. Still considering going to this to see the Super. Having second thoughts after that Raith win last night.
  17. Anyone who disputes this is a pretty reprehensible human if you ask me.
