  1. Another good thing today - The place was rocking. We had what felt like our biggest home attendance in a good while 2,100+ and a decent away support 800+ which made for a good atmosphere. Keep playing like that and more people will come through the gate. We need to be positive at home. Something the previous three incumbents in the dugout never understood. I'm feeling delirious with positivity. I had forgotten what it felt like!
  2. I can't blame him. I've wanted to scratch my own eyes out when watching us for large spells over the last three seasons. Brutal doesn't begin to cover it.
  3. I haven't read back everyone's comments. I will do so now. In spite of the result I enjoyed the game today. We moved it about very well and got a glimpse of the patient possession style that Brown is looking to instill. I thought it was harsh on us after all we had put into the game. I thought we were worthy of a draw but football doesn't work like that. I thought Paddy had a very good game (that is high praise as it's fair to say I am not his biggest fan). I'd need to see the two goals we conceded to understand what happened. The first, Bryden loses the ball and McGinty? (just seems to let the forward turn and shoot) and it ends up going under Charlie. The second I couldn't believe it ending up going in but I have no recollection of how it did. The bringing McGeady on needs to stop. WTF was he doing? The referee blew his whistle for a free kick and then he decides to play on doing some skill moves and loses possession. We gain no advantage but he gets to showboat. Get Amartey on ahead of him please. Tactically we had it pretty spot on. Big Dowds is itching for a goal if he gets one he'll start scoring freely again. Still led the line very well. I thought McKenzie linked the play up well today. Murphy's goal was lovely. Somerset Boab can get in the bin announcing that Dowds was to go off when he wasn't. He's murder. I felt we deserved more. Our porous defence remains a worry. Play like that and we'll be safe of relegation though. We didn't seem to lose well under Bullen, if you know what I mean! In Brown we trust. As for the referee. How Sibbald wasn't on a yellow in the first half I'll never know. A good half a dozen challenges where he didn't get the ball.
  4. Your ticket allows you access to any part of the ground. With an SRE ticket you can get into the Main Stand and enter via the turnstiles at the Main Stand. You just need to avoid sitting on a seat with a name on it as they are reserved for other season ticket holders.
  5. I'm off the mark in my maiden season! I had Jonnie Irwin as my Vice Captain, I think I'm supposed to say points please about now...
  6. I would agree with this. Chalmers is undoubtedly a quality player and a match winner. He has carried the team at points this season as have Dowds and Murphy. They are allowed a bad spell more than most. Also, flair players like Chalmers are always a bit inconsistent. Everything they try doesn't come off all the time.
  7. Ditto. I'm sick of the sight of some of them. Stinking the place out for seasons now.
  8. McCall's hit rate was better than the current recruitment. I dont think that is rose tinted. A lot of that is down to the market. Ironically, signing non-league jobbers from down south, isn't even a cheap option. It is considered sensible from a business model point of view. Sign them on frees, a good season up here and sell them on. Make a bit of money through 'player trading'. I get the principle and maybe if 1 in every 8 is like Dipo it works? Edit - As an aside I'd take David Ferguson at right back over Nick fucking McAllister! That's for sure.
  9. I don't think this is as bad as we think it is tbh. Time will tell.
  10. The mask has finally slipped tbh. It's disappointing for those who believed Nicola was different from the usual self serving politicians. Turns out she wasn't, she was just much better at hiding it. I don't trust a single one of the feckers regardless of the ribbon.
  11. I think I've been on a supporters bus once (up to Easter Road) for the first leg of the Cup game where we knocked Hibs out at Somerset (with Roberts scoring that infamous goal). I tend to make my own way to games. Given I'm not in Ayr it's not really something I can get too bothered about either way.
  12. Maybe I'm wrong and Thumper will come back doubling down with his Smith out agenda. I very much doubt it though.
  13. It's clearly parody! Hence it got a like from me. That has gone well over a number of people's heads on here. If you believe Thumper wants to run Smith out of town then I've got a friend who inspects wallets who I can introduce you too for a small fee.
  14. I'd be very interested in who suggested that Smith must walk? I must have missed that one. That's brain donor behavior right there.
  15. Remember we have a big car support as Bill McWilliams says...
  16. Brown speaking to the press about the transfer window closing and the business to be done...
