  1. Holy cow we are bad… and that’s putting it lightly. Could of played till Christmas and never score. Absolutely nothing going forward and powder puff at the back. Our bench is hardly inspiring either. We desperately need 3-4 decent quality signings or it’s going to be a very, very long season.
  2. Any idea of when the home top will be available to buy?
  3. Is there any news on when the club shop will be restocked? New kit? Anything?
  4. Weve signed ola adeyemo from dundee utd on loan till the end of the season.
  5. He was in Sociedads 25 man squad for last years champions league before apparently coming to Scotland to attend Un according to the Scotsman.
  6. Indeed he did! Looks a cracking player when on form.
  7. Rumours going around Bayview that Rusty has had to retire due to injury so i doubt that he'll be joining Ayr.
  8. Nice result today against Hamilton. Steven Campbell and Ewan Moyes were tremendous at the back. Won everything in the air and never lost a tackle. McAleer and Cook looked lively going forward and caused all sorts of problems. Really looking forward to this season
  9. Im sure Dutot was around when Naysmith took over. Obviously never fancied him. He strolled through the games i saw him in. Got injured quite a lot tho i seem to remember. Anyway, Scott Smith signing as well. Should be another quality asset at this level. Pretty sure he was first team in Dumbarton last year? Not sure. So glad Naysmith has decided to play. Still a cut above at this level.
  10. Jamie Beaton signed tonight! good stuff. ---Alan Fleming Fraser Mullen - Steven Campbell - Ewan Moyes - Gary Naysmith Caolan McAleer - Alan Walker - Jamie Beaton - Alan Cook -Jon McShane - Kevin Smith No Fecking bad
  11. Thought Thom was decent. Great leap and some crunching tackles. Played very well against Stirling in the playoffs.
  12. Heard there will be a few players in on Saturday for Naysmith to have a look at. A certain Scottish Premiership journeyman included.
  13. Another terrific signing at this level. We've significantly improved in each position on paper at least.
  14. Apparently Naysmith has said he has no intentions of playing this year. Even tho he'd stroll through this league. As for Rooney, I wouldn't be disappointed at all. He certainly has the capability and a good pre-season would be great for him. But we still need competition and an experienced head for Rooney to learn from would be ideal. Should of kept Paterson IMO, unless he wanted to leave. Thought he was terrific at points last season and kept us in games.
  15. -----Goalkeeper Right back - Campbell - Moyes - Left back McAleer - Brown - Walker - Cook -----------McShane - Smith Bawhair away from a starting eleven.
  16. McAleer and Cook firing in crosses for big McShane to stick his nut on!
  17. So, we have... Goalkeepers: Dylan Rooney - Kid that made his debut in the second half against Clyde in the playoffs. Terrific debut. Defenders: Steven Campbell - Possibly one of the best cb in the lowers leagues on his day. Terrific leap, strong and pacey. Just needs an experienced head alongside him. Which brings me to Ruthkiewicz, experienced and played pretty well last season. Hopefully Naysmith decides to play and we'll have the basis of a pretty good defense. Midfield: Lewis Barr and Ross Brown are two youngsters that played really well during last season. Credit to our youth system. Both will play a huge part in next season. Ross Brown is especially one to look out for. Not sure what to think of Alan Walker. If Naysmith can get the best out of him he'll be a terrific signing. Winger: Alan Cook - Ripped us apart a lot last season. Great signing at this level and should rip this league to bits. Strikers: Jon McShane, Nathan Austin and Kevin Smith - Kevin Smith should score goals at this level as should McShane. Seem to remember McShane scoring goals in the championship was it? a few years ago. Nathan Austin reminds me of Danny Welbeck. Terrific pace and scores goals but can be clumsy as hell. Should do well in this league tho
  18. Three excellent signings for Second division i'd say. Add that too Ruthkiewicz and Kevin Smith it's a pretty decent start to our squad.
  19. Happy with the signings so far. Kevin Rutkiewicz Kevin Smith Marc McKenzie. Gary Fisher. More to come apparently.
  20. Club has announced the signing of Marc McKenzie previously with Cowdenbeath.
  21. Manager also states that he's still talking to Ismael Bouzid but brother Adam has signed for a German second division side.
  22. East Fife sign former Hearts and Dundee Utd player Robbie Nielson according to the manager today and will play VS rangers tomorrow.
  23. I think it's more to do with the fact they have families abroad and need to do what's best for them, which is understandable. I'd prefer Adam over Ismael at the moment as our defense is covered and we could really use Adam in Midfield. The Gaffer did mention that he's still in constant talks with Ismael a few days ago. Either way im Happy with our squad.
