Nothing to see here, stop blaming refs, get treated the same as everyone else, etc, etc, etc

-12 of that -30 was on n the wales match

in fact -12 was probably the second half

There's no chance that can be real?  Is that some sort of dogging beach?

    @Mullarky.

The "Travel Scotland Goals Group" is trusted as a reliable source by many readers across the world on all topics of Scottish Culture

That trust may not be entirely well placed

Means Scotland finish fourth.  With arguably the second strongest team in the tournament.

If it weren’t for our hard luck with refereeing at the end of our respective games against France Scotland and Italy would be 2nd and 3rd

It’s been one of the most balanced and interesting tournaments in years

    except for viewers in Wales

Puts our ga,e last week into a bit of context.

Although it also puts our failure to get a bonus point in Cardiff into context as well

    Still mustn’t grumble

"1st" wasn't necessary there: it makes the sentence tautological.

    No it doesn’t

The last bit is certainly redundant  but the sentence itself isn’t tautological  because it  identifies the person that set the precedent.

“Whoever set the precedent would have been the  first to do it” on the other hand would be a tautology

The article genuinely reads as Goebbels-esque. I hate anything that makes Jordan Peterson sound like some sort of one man Rorke's Drift, a bulwark against the wave of woke.

There is an element of veracity in what the author says as there is a strain of obtuse gaslighting running through the "woke' movement and there is absolutely a puritanism emerging which seeks to shame sexual attraction, as if acknowledging that Sydney Sweeney's body is attractive makes you akin to a rapist.

That said, if they'd just written about that it would be cool. I don't like normalising obesity, but the body positivity "movement" comes from a good place, ultimately.

For Reference this is the plus size lady on the Sports Illustrated cover that Jordan Peterson said wasn't attractive

When they get it right, Scotland are probably the best team in the 6 Nations to watch.  VDM’s third try vs England was one which no other team would be able to score.  Even now, you’d say Scotland’s first choice XV is the second best in the tournament.

I’ve said it before: for those not old enough to remember Toony the player, this team is exactly as he was as a player - either unplayable good or unplayably bad and little in between.

Which keeps things interesting at least

The ladies always know a couple of big city shaggers when they see them.

When someone from Inverness posts this you wonder whether the subtext is a smug pride in his exploits the last time he was in Dingwall or Tain or a simmering resentment of dashing Southern tourists visiting Inverness

If Rangers get through on Thursday, it's definitely going to be the Saturday. So either 12.30 or 5.30. Both times are a pain in the arse, but my preference would be a lunchtime kick off. I'm probably in the minority.

Even if they don't go through

Rangers got the Saturday game against Dundee in 2022 while Celtic played Dundee United on the Sunday

So it will probably be Celtic's turn to get Saturday

As much as you want to believe, it actually won't

Bear*  in mind that your opinion on a situation almost certainly won’t accurately reflect all Rangers fans (and possibly not even Rangers fans in general))

    * No pun originally intended but I’m pleased with it nonetheless

Yes. Barca's cap is €200 million, vastly lower than Real Madrid's. They're currently at about €400 million, meaning they can only sign players if they offload an existing player, and they can only pay the incoming player 25% of the what the outgoing player was on.

Presumably once they move back into the new camp nou ("camp nou nou"?) their turnover will rise and so will their cap

Yes Sibbick (checked Google)reminded me of Brian Reid back in the day the way he strolled about.

He's only an inch taller than Rowles

Then again if you'd written "the black centre half"  instead of "the big centre half" it would have been less ambiguous but far more awkward

So it's probably for the best

Never in doubt. Not for a fraction of a split-second were the Good Guys (Hearts) in danger of anything other than a comfortable victory.

What an embarrassment Morton are. Chucking themselves to the floor at every opportunity, praying for throw-ins to fling aimlessly towards their cast of lumbering oafs in the box. Hopefully they can be retrospectively ejected from the Scottish Cup for sullying it with their odious presence. DELIGHTED that I can once again forget that they exist.

    Careful now
