Just an observation. In a pandemic caused by a virus which is highly infectious, plcture 44 is showing 3 guys on the terrace side by side, not social distancing and without face coverings. I would be surprised if that is acceptable under the rules allowing spfl games to take place.

I was thinking that as guys learning their trade as managers they could do with someone experienced to support them. It's a big transition from player to manager and requires different skills which support would help them develop.

Completely agree, an absolute horror show. As you say a complete inability from the managers to set the team up to win the game against even 9 men but that was inevitable as the team has been stuttering along for a while. I'm afraid that's as far we'll get with them managing which really means that the money being spent is currently being wasted.

Very poor show yesterday. Still not playing as a team. The defence struggled with the bounce of the ball all game and at the other end there's just not enough chances being created. Nicky Low was involved in most things but a lot of the time he was too far back in his own half. Other players just didn't turn up and Broxburn were beatable as their defence was extremely panicky when the came near the box. Has the money been well spent or are the players bought not being managed well? Interesting post about the game by HibeeJibee on the Scottish Cup thread where he asks if we have the angriest bench in Scottish football. Well yesterday was certainly not their finest hour with both managers getting stupid yellow cards. What he failed to mention was Andy Rodgers trying to square up to a Broxburn fan after the final whistle and having to be physically restrained. Whatever was said that's no way for the assistant manager to behave.

Absolutely right on both counts. Even when Bsc were down to 10 men we were never able to dominate the game. As to number of fans........ there's my estimate.

Yes someone said that it was number 12 but it was not conclusive. McCaughie improved things when he came on as we then had support for Rodgers as he hasn't got the legs to play lone striker if there are no midfield runners in support. To me it looks like a new broom is needed to sort the team out.

So that makes it OK. The mascot for the game who's favourite player is Ure witnessed it too. Maybe we should be thinking of making football more family friendly in the 21st century.

If that was Iain Ure warming up at half time he's quite short for a keeper. Which Shire player was Del Ure giving an earful at full time yesterday? It wasn't very pleasant for the young kids who could hear everything.

Couldn't make the game tonight but that result is not good enough. It looked a strange team lineup especially the defence against a team who had scored 6 goals in their last game. I look forward to the comments of those who were there.
