Week 2 - Inverness.

Last night showed just how little depth we have. After the subs at HT there was nobody left to make an impact. 3/4 more players required.

Dundee scout was at disc again yesterday. He was watching the game next to us. Think it was fairmuir v Utd social.

Waddell wasn’t released. His contract ended. At no point have Dundee said he was released. They have said he has left the club after his contract expired. I’m pretty sure Waddell knew when his contract expired and what would happen if he didn’t sign a new one.

Yeah know who the guy is. Probably on this form as he’s a good Dundee man. Was heavily involved with amateur football but is now academy scout at dens.

Dundee have a scout every Saturday at fun 5s at the disc.

We started with McAnn but then he got the sack, so after all our searching we ended up appointing jimmy Mac. He thought he would be funnny and signed up Martin woods, said he would deliver the relegation saving goods. Unfortunately it failed and now we must go down, Utd don’t forget it Dundee are the only club in town. If our shortlists is, McPake, Miller and Goodwin I’m seriously uninspired. McPake - unproven, Goodwin - 1 good season and Miller - left livi to concentrate on playing. We need stability not another failed manager sacked within a year.

We also have that boy on a pre contract from QOS. Not sure what he’s like but without Dobbie they seem to struggle. If McIntyre goes, I’m sure a new manager can withdraw the PC if they don’t want the player.

I’m ready to be shot down, but we will seriously struggle with Mendy, Moussa, and Wighton as our attackers. Today both Wighton and Mendy were anonymous against a part time defence. We need 1 - a GGH or Greg Stewart type of player and 2 - A recognised goal scorer. If we don’t get players in this week then it’s gonna be a long season.
