  1. Wilsons stats for Cliftonvale are good but with the Brighton background his agent will be pricing him higher than we can afford.
  2. Regardless of where he was loaned out to I took it was clear, apart from the sugar coating, he would not be missed from their squad. Bear in mind he's also still an RC player so RC fans may not be giving a clear assessment. However we have seen players come to us who have turned their careers positively.
  3. RC fans focused on Samuel being a nice lad who works hard and hoping he does well yet not one mention of him being a loss for County.
  4. How's this going to pan out, definitely not in the Wotherspoon mould, down as a centre fwd but there are goalkeepers with better scoring records. Is this just an offload by RC with the Caley board trying to show they are trying to bring players in Hopefully Duncan can make something of him and maybe the lad will surprise us all.
  5. Dire we're happily commenting on a couple of snowmen when we should be talking of transfers in by now.
  6. The Tory Party have been against a Devolved Scotland ever since it was first mooted as 'Home Rule' way back. The Tory Party is the home of the little englander who still sees england as a major power in the world and is angry when they see that their great overwhelming power could be diluted by a Scotland that makes it's own decisions and that the hateful film Braveheart is to blame for all of this continuing devolved nonsense. They are aided in their spiteful anti Scots rhetoric by the tory press who run out nasty Scots articles on a daily basis. There has also been a massive infiltration of the narrow minded little englanders into Edinburgh no doubt fleeing from those awful boat people who seek to undermine the correct english way of life, meanwhile conveniently forgetting how the english colonists financially pillaged and bombed countries worldwide.
  7. Truth be told at times last night it looked like he was playing in one. A far cry from scoring Celtics winner against Barcelona. Wise up mate you're in the Championship.
  8. A good all round game for us but sadly lacking up front, the loss of Wotherspoon was telling and we definitely need a couple of front men in this week, pleased with the team and if we had had a striker we would have walked that game, Dundee United looked very much like a mid table team last night and it seems the early league performances are well behind them, some of their fans on this thread moaning they are missing a couple of players through injury but I can't see that would have made a difference, Watt looked like he just finished a pint of lager and a bag of crisps and then turned out for his pub team. But what is it with Shaw as we could have done with some of the brilliance he showed last season, best we drop him now.
  9. Sorry to see Sean Welsh go but fully understand the need for the move, when fit and playing he was a formidable and very capable player for us and fully deserved the Captaincy, it may well be that the move at this stage of his career will see him stay in football in some coaching capacity and operating in the central belt will provide him with more contacts than he would have up here.
  10. DU at Ladbrokes odds on at 1/2 so bookies not over confident. Caley is at 19/4 and for me worth a punt. Draw at 27/10 which is maybe better for the more cautious.
  11. This is a company annual report all above board and normal. I referred to filed accounts at Companies House Nowhere in the Annual report does it say that these are the company accounts due to be filed in March. Company financial accounts are a different article from a Company's annual report, assets, Directors loans, costs and liabilities etc etc which all reflect tax liabilities and profit and loss where applicable are all found in the filed company accounts at Companies House. All and any Companies publish Annual reports for shareholders. I could have easily written one for my company if I had loads of shareholders, but I submitted my books to the accountants who then filed for me. annual reports provide a comprehensive narrative of the company's journey, financial statements offer timely and specific financial data for in-depth analysis and decision-making. Anyway who cares.
  12. The last filed accounts were up to 28th March 2023 which I assume is the annual accounts you refer to. The DU Chairman's statement this morning paints a different picture which we will see when the latest accounts are submitted in March this year. When a board issues a financial concern pre accounts submission it is an admission that allis not well
  13. As you by now know Boyz in the Hood scored a couple for us yesterday giving us a much needed win, hopefully he'll happily see the season out with us, however I doubt it seeing as you're struggling in the PL you may think he's what you need right now.
  14. We needed this win. Good all round performance for us with great control against a lively Ayr.
  15. Scrappy first half urgent play understandably given both teams coming off losses, Ayr had good chances early on but were foiled by excellent saves from Mark, and then out of the blue we were gifted a goal which improved our performance.
  16. The problem is that the cameras are level with the setting sun, they should be higher, it's not as if this is a one off as surely they have had this situation before.
  17. So that's where your team finances are being spent on. Hiring choppers ffs.
  18. Absolutely correct that others were involved in Italy's Unification as a country, but Garabaldi has been pushed to the fore as a driving force. Love his biscuits.
  19. Why not? I posted, 'always a possibility'. Given Charles's catholic support from Rome Spain and France who would have opposed him? Plus Hanoverian support in england was not universally popular. Admittedly the finance for the venture came from Rome and Spain with France initially offering little but there is no doubt if Charles had secured London and the English Throne France would have come in big style. BUT, as I said it is only a possibility but one that may well have succeeded.
