The Labour Party that was founded 124 years ago with it's basic fundamental policy to represent and defend the rights of the working class is far removed from the Labour Party of today. Todays Labour Party will argue that the world has moved on, but we the working class are still here and while we see benefits and rights continually cut by the tories the Labour Party presently seem to condone that behaviour, the two child benefit cap is a prime example. The biggest mistake to many is how the Labour Party has backed Trident, £35 Billion spending on a weapons system which really belongs to the USA, the guidance system for instance can only be serviced in the USA. Consider that cost and the billions spent on two aircraft carriers which repeatedly break down. Imagine what that money could provide the NHS alone with, seems the Labour and Tory politicians prefer spending to kill people instead of investing in saving lives.

I'm all for proportional representation but if Scotland ran first past the post elections there would be no tories as MSP's and just a handful of Labour in Holyrood.

I've never taken the piss out of any religious players as I don't know any by their religion and like all fans I'm more interested in a players ability, but it seems to be an issue with you which I find odd when you declare you're agnostic. Each to hos own but people in glass houses should not throw stones.

SNP Lies, Corruption and Hypocrisy- add them here

Then you will be aware of what's to come. It is obvious that Labour will win the next election, but who couldn't against a morally and financially corrupt tory party, but it will not be the landslide some are predicting. The only two Labour landslides I recall belongs to Clement Atlee and Tony Blair. Keir Starmer will never be or carry the initial charisma of Tony Blair, but more importantly Blair and his team prior to the election openly courted Rupert Murdoch, Major Companies and the Heads of the Financial Institutions and Banking Corporations, assuring them that 'New Labour' was fully attuned to the needs of the financial markets. Starmer has made some movements towards the Markets and agreed on some tory policies but probably feels that a Labour win against a weak tory party is assured and he doesn't need to make too many overtures to the private sector so as not to annoy the Labour voting core. So as I see it he will enjoy a bounce for some months, maybe a year, then as they always do the tory media, the establishment and the Financial sector will fully turn their guns on him and his party, if you think the sniping and constant belittling of the SNP is a big deal you ain't seen nothing yet once the establishment gets going with a tsunami of 24 hour a day humiliating personal and Labour party attacks. You will also see major criticism from the military which has a backbone of toryism. Aye there may be troubles ahead. -

You obviously have never lived through a Labour majority Scotland whose Scottish MP's are totally controlled by the London based labour party and they have to toe the party line which is english biased. Red Tory Starmer already backs the 2 child cap policy and he has made it clear he wants to abolish free university student fees. -

You continually bleat on with deflective drivel while ignoring the fact that The Scottish Government is being subjected to Himmler type propaganda constantly. As with all brainwashed unionists your head is so far up your rule brittania arse you will never see daylight, I pity you. Lastly consider why all of these 65 Countries, some big yet some very small, washed their hands and bid a big good riddance to your beloved england. Answer that instead of childishly attempting and copying your english masters in rubbishing people like me who love Scotland and despise our country being dragged into the gutter by Westminster only for the monetary gain oil brings. -

While infighting between political parties is the norm and accepted from a long as politics have existed. I cannot think of any political party or Government as the SNP which is continually sustaining sniping, lies, spin and untruths on such a massive scale 24 hours per day from all TV and print media which is based and owned in another country, it is a type of fascism in the extreme. Which is all down to the threat of Scottish Independence which when you examine why all boils down to money, as here in Scotland we are continually informed that we cost far to much by the Westminster government, so why don't they let us go and stop with all the media attacks on the SNP and the Scottish Government if we are costing. The answer is Scottish Oil, without that billions of income and oil to export Westminster and england become smaller with less say and power in Europe and the World. We are forcibly chained to a corrupt westminster that has used and abused Scots in their wars for centuries with no reward other than to dump us in our wasteland cities and destroyed our steel and shipbuilding industries. No other country would accept this just as the other 65 countries throughout the world have declared Independence from england once they realised how they were being used. -

An adventure sadly missed by you as there remains pubs in Leith from times past that are a haven for serious imbibers with a clientele more than happy to greet you as a long lost pal and where drouthy neebors neebors meet. Above that sawdusty floored establishments there is always The Kings Wark where decent grub is also supplied. -
Absolutely no doubt our boy Carson is a 100 percenter in every game and he would do well to remember that the fans and club were 100% behind him in his 'him or me' scenario a while back. Having said that if he does go I would Thank him for his outstanding service for us but caution him against a failing Livingston, a club that we absolutely skelped at Almondvale last season in the cup, as I feel he could do better with a side that is looking up not down.
