You will never stop things being smuggled into the ground (been at plenty of away days where I have witnessed people sneaking drinks from bottles they have brought in) but for a fucking moron to think it’s acceptable to launch a glass bottle at players is scandalous, hopefully the guilty party is identified and dealt with, I wouldn’t hesitate in shopping a Utd fan who was stupid enough to act in this manner.

A big game and we actually turn up. Great result and a performance to match, wasn’t exactly sexy soccer for ninety minutes but there was effort and determination from the team today that has been missing recently. If today’s Tony Watt turned up every week we would have already won the league, such a frustrating player, it’s clear what he can offer but so often he looks like he can’t be arsed. The league wasn’t won today but I feel we could have lost it today, todays result counts for nothing if we don’t put the same effort into the remaining games.

Think Utd have made a bit of a c**t of this tbh. Should have kept the shed for ourselves with reduced ticket costs to try to get the place jumping, give the Raith fans the Fair play and Jerry Kerr if needed. Giving the shed to Raith at a reduced capacity is just stupid, the difference in noise between 1900 fans and 1300 fired up fans will be minimal and the excuse of a larger segregation section is a load of bollocks as we never did this in the top flight against teams with far scummier fans than Raith, all we've done is reduce our ticket income.

Both teams desperate for points for very different reasons. Utd need to go back to the team/formation that picked up so many points early in the season and hope our misfiring/lazy b*****d forwards can up their game. Time for Graham to finally atone for his Parkhead miss, put Raith to the sword and all will be forgiven.

If Docherty stays fit we win this league, such a difference when he plays, a proper captain and always trying to organise the team as well as being very good at taking the ball off of the defenders to start attacking moves. Sibbald (MOM yesterday for me) is also a far better player when playing with Docherty as he has more freedom to get around the pitch getting stuck in knowing that Docherty is holding his position behind him.

That was a brutal watch but I can’t remember the last time we got dragged into a battle and come out on top, great 3 points and more like the effort required when games aren’t going our way.

At half time I was wondering if Goodwin had lost the dressing room as the players looked like they had chucked it, the lack of effort in that first half was appalling. Recently our subs seemed to have had a negative effect but today they helped change the game with Moult eventually getting the equaliser despite having a horrendous game. We don’t seem to have a single attacking player in any sort of form at the moment which is obviously a huge concern but Middleton seems to take shittyness to a whole new level and surely can’t start the next game, don’t know if it’s a confidence thing or if there’s more to it but you would never believe he’s top of the assists chart if you had watched any recent games. A point away to thistle is not the worst result but that first half performance was very worrying.

You are aware that prior to the last 2 games he has spent his whole career as an attacking player. Not desperate to move him from right back just struggling to fill the attacking roles due to the form of Middleton and Fotheringham.
