Well they did sell their own ground then things happened transpired how they thought they would.

Not sure the ins and outs, but they did have their own ground which was a good ground to visit.

Under what circumstances though, surely they'd have to have been promised something , like the astro which is now unless I'm mistaken now open yet they're still needing to share guys meadow

Not everyone who follows Arthurlie lives in barrhead obviously that’s really not that difficult to understand is it. Listen don’t gies your pish about the temperature dropping from 10am until 12 then jumping back up again as i said you’s chanced it and it backfired just admit it and move on 👍

Ma pish? It's a temperature I was out in myself therefore experienced it get colder as the day went on therefore I am very qualified to say the temperature dropped as the day went on. You play the victim all you want 👍

Who said he was travelling from Barrhead? Its an 80mile round trip from Barrhead to new cumnock. You took a chance hoping it would thaw out in time and it never, people would have more respect for you guys if you just admitted that fact

Aww so you're gonna come out with what now somebody was traveling from the Shetlands then? 😂😂😂😂

So your pitch went from playable 1st thing after a frosty night but froze after the sun came out? Makes sense 🤣

What part of it can get colder as the day goes on is difficult to understand?

It was said the game I'm referring to in 2017 a monsoon came on at half 11, when our bus left half an hour after that therefore plenty of time to notify the traveling team. Not hard to understand.

The difference on that occasion is that the pitch was playable when inspected by a referee and then an absolute moonsoon came down about 11.30am and never stopped.

Glenafton informed us the pitch was playable and did not require a pitch inspection at 10am fast forward 2 and a half hours and large parts of the pitch were frozen solid

When it can get colder as the day goes on. As clearly happened on Saturday, I was out a walk before heading to the park and it most certainly got colder

11:30 you say the monsoon came on, our bus back then left at 12. Half an hour is enough time to inform the opposition team of the bad rain 👍

So that makes what your team did yesterday fine then? Not the 1st time they have done it either too. The fact that they responded on social media saying the park was fine when asked by an Arthurlie fan shows the contempt they treated fans.

Did I say that makes it fine? No! You're crying like you're the only fans that's traveled to a game disappointed it's been called off.

I'll play your game though. Your team could have informed us back in 2017 that a massive part of your pitch was visibly clearly not going to be playable and to save us traveling, but you didn't.

Everybody involved fairly obviously wanted to try and get the game played as it's now likely going to be another midweek game with some players on both sides unavailable due to work commitments.

Good to see and hopefully that was agreed with opposition before hand. But as with us there are more than just players and officials to worry about with fans travelling significant distances to only find out the game is postponed.

I am all for giving a pitches a chance to thaw out where possible but it should be communicated to supporters so they can make a decision if it is worth travelling or not.

I remember in 2017 we travelled up to dunterlie and gate not even opened. When a large patch of the park was pure brown sludge

I will admit I was last at a talbot game against hearts last year but I stay in Kent so it's not so easy to go to every game but I do keep up with everything and yes I was brought up in the 80s 90s 2000s watching talbot then I moved so I know what the highs are like and the lows and I know what its like to rebuild teams like talbot after having players stay for so long so yeah have a go cause I don't go to every game but I know what talbot are like and this season is a rebuild which I will accept .

Tucker will have yous back competing quite soon 👍

Have to agree with ally-no-full.stops in that Albion Rovers are no longer a big scalp.

The Largs v Ashfield match was a meeting of probably the two most bbc inconsistent teams in the league so not a huge shock. Beith's slump isnt a new thing.

For me, ROTD is Pollok 2 Linlithgow Rose 0 as the latter are more than holding their own in the LL.

    Mon the WoSFL!

BBC could be taken the wrong way 🤣

Perfectly understandable the Schadenfreude that is evident at this news tonight.

Clubs like Beith , Auchinleck Talbot , Pollok and my own club Clydebank have strived hard to build good quality squads able of competing on several fronts

Every club works hard to build squads with a view to competing

Yep! Wins over Greenock and Dalry will certainly have the WOSL scene buzzing.

Both games we would have lost before the managerial change when playing 3 at the back. Dalry beat Pollock who several weeks ago hammered us. Greenock midweek with players out working all day then traveling midweek during a storm. Can only beat whats front of you 🤙👍
