I’ve always taken it as going straight and long, but more emphasis on getting solid, clean contact with an iron. Essentially just saying you are striking the ball well.

There was also footage of that Sam Fender bloke covering Frabbit. It was pretty decent.
Thanks for this, it’s a really good version. Makes me even more gutted that I couldn’t go, and that for some reason the BBC didn’t cover the headline act at all so there’s no good quality recording of it.

As far as I’m concerned, Russian and Belarusian players should be banned from international sport until they put the necessary pressure on Putin to stop the war. I don’t think the neutral flag achieves that and it’s deeply unfair on the innocent Ukrainian players for them to be forced to share the stage with Russians.
You must be hating the end to this match now.

He’s Russian
I mean, if that’s it, then what a ridiculous stance to take. From looking online he seems to have an anti-war stance.

Aye but whilst one is a bit of an anti-vax twat, the other shouldn’t be allowed to play in the tournament full stop.
What’s he done to warrant this? Haven’t really seen anything reported on it.

Played golf on holiday and hired clubs. They gave me what appeared to be a brand new set of Ping G425 woods and irons.
I'm playing at home with a set of 10 or so year old Taylor Made Rocketblade irons, which, until now I've not really considered changing, but these Ping irons and woods where so much more forgiving than mine.
Might end up being the most expensive round of gold I've played.
My irons and woods are G425s. They’re very enjoyable to play with, would highly recommend pulling the trigger.

British Gas finally forcibly upping my direct debit by 50%, despite being in credit to the tune of two months worth of standard bill value, and being due to finish on the fixed tariff in two months. Went online to reduce it back down and it doesn’t let you set it below the new amount they’ve chosen.
Some time going to be wasted on the phone to them it looks like then. f**k off.

Probably because the club build up a bunch of backup announcers and as soon as successful businessman took over all were not even contacted to be advised they were no longer required.
^^^ Neil McCann levels of bitterness.

Sometimes like most companies jobs are advertised internally first ,
51 minutes ago, Finlay21 said:No one has been announced , he did Dam Park as he had the equipment required as Dam Park does not provide PA system , think it was quoted not many people have applied
You can’t have it both ways. If not enough people have applied after an internal advertisement, then you need to externally advertise the role, not just pick the only internal person who fancies it regardless of suitability.

I live in a non-council flat in Edinburgh that doesn't have recycling bins. Not sure what's confusing you here.
Okay, I live in a non-council flat in Edinburgh that does have recycling bins. The only confusion was with your incorrect statement that I initially replied to.

I live in a flat in Edinburgh. There are no purple or green bins. Just the large all purpose bins for the chute.

So you don’t live in Edinburgh?

People living in flats don't have glass bins.
In Edinburgh they certainly do. Massive ones beside the standard green recycling ones.

OK, cheers.
I suppose it's just if there's a Scotland game on in that city it would be good to be based there, but I guess 2 or 3 of the other options are only a half hour train ride away, so all should be fine (we have places in Cologne, Gelsenkirchen and Bochum booked in that area).
When at the away game in Dortmund a few years back we got the train from Düsseldorf to and from the game and it was incredibly easy. Definitely wouldn’t recommend staying in Dortmund itself.

Really hope we’re not needing points with 3 games left!

Saw a good post online about the whole thing.
”He took a woman who could barely stand and had no idea what was going on home and had sex with her when she was unable to consent. Medical evidence, witness statements and blood alcohol results proved she's wouldn't have had the ability to know what was happening. By any definition that is rape.
Then he got away with it due to a terrible decision by the crown office not to prosecute and was sued in a civil court where the facts clearly show what he did. After being ordered to pay his victim £100000 he went bankrupt and as soon as his bankruptcy finished meaning he wouldn't have to pay anything to his victim he began to look to a move to a higher league where he could make more money knowing he would keep it all and she still wouldn't get a penny.
After supporters groups, club sponsors and staff all kicked off about it he was told he couldn't play and was released. This became a bigger story and the full details of what he did became known to the wider public and most fans of all the teams he's gone to want nothing to with him and as a result neither do sponsors.
At every step in this saga he has only looked out for his own self interest and what he wanted to do and not cared about anyone else because he sees himself as a victim because he's facing consequences for his actions.“
If I’d had to take bets on who on here would come out crying about how unfair it is that he’s being shunned, it would’ve been honey roast gammon WATTOO I’d have put as runaway favourite.

Can you summarise the interesting bits as I've no appetite to listen to this p***k for an hour and a half.
Rick Shiels isn’t my cup of tea either but this seems a tad harsh.

Glad to hear he’s fine, but he was a complete melt on here.

In terms of best course has to be current Ailsa, just phenomenal design, views etc and also great fun to play.
Few other top quality courses in terms of layout etc like Muirfield, Trump Aberdeen, Kingsbarns & Dornoch that would rank as ‘best courses’ but if talking purely fun then it would be either Prestwick, North Berwick or Castle Stuart for me. Could play any of them every day for the rest of my life.

Agreed, they’d be absolutely mental to consider him.

My fixed rate ends in November. My best option at the moment is an increase of 63% on my current monthly payment.
There are going to be a significant number of people who have overstretched themselves to live in a big house on a maximum mortgage with a brand new car in the drive on finance, that are going to be seeing the bailiffs.

Bullen going down there and instantly offering a million for Dipo would be a great outcome.

Why should we be cheaper to watch than any other team in the league , yes £22 is steep but not any dearer than all the rest
Because we’re probably the worst team, entertainment-wise, to watch in the entire league?
Obviously the above is facetious, but generally the pricing of the entire league is farcical considering the overall standard. Value for money it must be one of the worst in Europe.
