Very rarely in Ayr these days, but last time I was there the pubs seemed to have died. Best one is probably The Abbotsford but think it might have been sold to be made into flats or something. Smoking Goat is decent too.

Never really found it to be like that, but admittedly a bit biased as it’s my local and it’s got a great whisky selection and decent beers.

Brauhaus, Bennets (both Tollcross & Morningside), Guildford Arms, Diggers, Windsor, Canny Mans are decent in Edinburgh off the top of my head. Weird seeing The Abbey being mentioned positively, the guys I know who went to Uni in Edinburgh said it was known as an absolute dive filled with nutters only <10 years ago. Need to give it a shot.

Had a look at other groups, and if it’s a draw Sunday, then us winning our last 2 games leaving us on 21 points means the below teams will very likely win their groups with more points than us: France England Belgium Portugal + hosts Germany So I think we would be pot 1 if it’s a draw Sunday and we win our last 2.

Booked travel to get to West Germany Saturday 15th-Friday 21st. Think my mates have fucked it though by putting it off for so long despite my repeated attempts to get stuff booked, as accommodation in Cologne and Düsseldorf is incredibly limited now.

In that case, other than the dream scenario of a draw on Sunday, I’m definitely in the Spain to win and confirm qualification camp if we can still secure pot 2, whereas I was starting to sway towards Norway winning to give us a chance of topping the group. I completely understand people just wanting qualified asap, but being pot 1/2 at the tournament vs pot 3/4 is a huge difference in terms of chances of progression.

Not sure this is correct, looking at the groups there are a few who would be able to finish second with that sort of points total? @Donathan thoughts on the post above? If we can finish 2nd and still have a chance at pot 2 that would be huge.

As about 20 other people have already said that you’ve ignored completely, UEFA confirmed that it was given as a foul. Then about 20 mins later, presumably after watching it back a hundred times and realising that the referee has absolutely fucked it, have changed their minds to it being offside. You’re either being an idiot or deliberately obtuse in refusing to acknowledge this.

Yeah this is the best way IMO. Bills, meals out, joint purchases etc all come from the joint account that’s split based on incomes, then what’s left is each person’s to spend on whatever they want.
