Everyone is basically saying the same thing. There just aren’t enough people in Cowden who give enough of a shit to go to the games. This lack of support in turn leaves numbers too low to get as many volunteers as ideally required. And of course not enough income to compete. The town gets what it deserves then, F all. And for the few who give their heart and soul for free, they don’t get what they deserve. I remember just after the townies were dispatched 3-0, was saying with Deek Neilson there’s only 1 way from here, this is the pinnacle. Was some pinnacle mind you, for arguably the smallest club in the leagues.

Have to disagree about Stirlings stadium. It’s the ideal set up for lower league clubs. I was back there last week for the Dons game and every time I go it just makes me wonder how they managed to get it and Cowden are left with an out of date dump. On your point about sharing with Kelty, there are too many teams in fife. I said when Kelty crossed over it was bad news for Cowden and it certainly hasn’t helped. 2 teams within 2 miles is way too much, although Kelty will soon hit their ceiling unless they have other plans ahead.

There were 4 players missing so had to get 2 trialists to make a small bench of 3/4 , but you’re comment about the game is still fair. Broomhill were easily superior in most areas and Gary Fraser must have enjoyed playing in that game.

There hasn’t been much shouting from pittodrie about number of sales so far, which makes me think it hasn’t increased or maybe slightly less, but that is just a guess.
