  1. So what you are saying is its more enjoyable to watch your team win things.
  2. We don't go into games expect to beat teams 9-0.....ever. Despite the banter on the match thread it was never something any of us really thought was a realistic scoreline But the crux of it is if it wasn't enjoyable watching Celtic or the product was shit then we wouldn't sell out our season ticket allocations or have a significant waiting list for a season ticket, no one is paying £600+ a year for something they don't enjoy. But if you are telling me the games are more enjoyable and provide better entertainment in games that don't feature Celtic or Rangers then i guess the obvious question to ask is why are the stadiums not full?
  3. Yeah i watched the Liverpool/Bournemouth game yesterday fucking hated watching fast, attacking, high pressing football where there were loads of goals.
  4. Actually there is some merit to that. Some of their players didn't try at all, the amount of goals we scored where the ball was squared across the goal and no c**t was making an attempt to block or track the runner.
  5. Excellent, Abada has been outstanding today. Lovely pass from Mooy
  6. The 1 player who looks dangerous and making an effort and Ross hooks him.....deary me
  7. United were actually pretty good till the Kyogo 2nd. If the Middleton one went in it could have been a very different half however they have completely collapsed since the 2nd. Can't see Jack Ross lasting much longer, he hasn't a clue how to fix it. This could be anything now
  8. 2 notable things from this game from a Celtic pov. Kyogo, Jota & Abada are easily our best front 3 Jenz is easily better than Starfelt.
  9. I pay my money to watch my team in the same way you do, that makes my opinion on our league every bit as valid as yours. So i guess you can go f**k yourself too Not looking at the Rangers score also doesn’t give you some moral high ground or add weight to your point it just means you aren’t interested and guess what i didn’t look either, funny that eh?
  10. Nope, never even came close to making such a suggestion however no matter what i say it won’t stop you jumping to the same and very wrong conclusions. Good luck with your League of Ireland, you will be doing well to even get close to that level tbh.
  11. I don’t disagree but you are never going to sell this as a better reality to clubs or fans of clubs that don’t want to step back from it. Their opinion should carry as much weight as any other. Your latter points is probably the most feasible option that keeps everyone happy and at the level they are happy with
  12. You need to stop making the mistake of thinking your opinion of what is pathetic or embarrassing means anything to me, it doesn’t. I’ve already said a few times what I want for my team, I don’t require your validation as to if it’s ok or not … see point above
  13. I don’t need to improve my fitness levels MT, I would have thought you would have known that from the last time you made a silly assumption about me I do want to see my football team improve though
  14. Yeah mate imagine me even having the temerity to think about getting better at football.
  15. I didn’t say it would, what our game needs is a bigger pot spread more equally in terms of domestic TV revenues, prize pots etc etc not an already small pot spread thinly. I’ve said before i have no idea how the likes of Norway have TV revenues for their domestic league that double ours, we are also eclipsed by the likes of Denmark. Does this address an immediate imbalance? No it doesn’t and i doubt anything will quickly but it does add a bit more money if spread more equally will help. f**k even limit the number of foreigners we have, spend that money on having our teams mostly full of talented Scottish players who just now don’t get a shot and maybe we may even see a benefit to our national team.
  16. No i’d rather try get better, improve our performances, grow our revenues and develop our players to try close that gap. Move forwards not backwards
  17. If that suits you fair enough however as an Aberdeen fan with a rich European history to never ever want to experience that again? Fucking hell
  18. Only 250 million comes through Scottish football in a season at the very most. Equivalent to what Leicester do in a season. Good luck splitting that and even hoping the league becomes anything of note, like i said it may be competitive but you just create a grand canyon sized financial gap to the rest of Europe. None of of our clubs become competitive on that stage….ever. That may suit you right enough never having had a dog in the race. The only way your idea works is with 1 division no promotion, no relegation and we become the NFL and even then we still wouldn’t see a Scottish club do anything of note ever again but you get your competitive football however your club won’t be in it
  19. If you are happy to accept that as your reality however you then what’s is in it for the Champions? Entry into a qualifier they have no hope of winning? That also diminishes any hope of us bringing any real quality in the league, talented youngsters will move at a younger age and for less £ to other leagues to test themselves against the best. What we need is more money in our game not less of it.
