The ref thought the currant dived. It was clear and obvious he didn't dive.
You think that challenge was enough to bring him down? And if so why start falling prior to it happening?

So you dont think the ref booking a player for a dive when he was fouled in the box isn't a clear an obvious error?
And if thats not a clear an obvious error, what part of dessers goal is the foul (which was a good numbers of seconds before the ball hit the net) not being awarded "clear and obvious" yet you are not having an issue with that one
No because it was in my opinion a dive hence why he was falling before any contact
And the number of seconds before the ball hit the net is an irrelevance since what starts the attacking phase of play is always looked and the big difference between AJ’s tackle and the one on Iwata is that AJ actually got the ball. Small differences but important ones

You were being very clever, and you know it. Rather than highlight the shortcomings of your team, you concentrated on a decision that, having now watched it a load of times, could have gone either way.
Except for the fact that I did, in my very first post after the game where I referred to our shitebag second half performance.

The VAR advises referee to give Celtic a penalty. He does. The VAR advises referee to disallow a Rangers goal because of a foul. He does. The VAR advises the referee to give Rangers a penalty. He does. This apparently equals the VAR being anti-Celtic and costing them the win.
I didn’t say it was anti-Celtic or in any way imply it, what I am saying is it’s an awful decision for both VAR to consider it to be clear and obvious and secondly for Beaton to not stand by his original decision.
But that’s a view that’s not exclusive to me or just Celtic fans, you can just read this thread to see that

Wait, you actually think your team has been hard done by from var? deary me. Especially in old firm games. var was just fine today,it won you the first derby too.
I don't think you understand what I actually said tbh.
Today, absolutely however it’s not just me that thinks that. The majority of people posting on this thread when it happened seemed to think it was pretty laughable too.

Fair enough, I seem to have more faith in your team than you do.
For that be a fair assessment we had to win that game today and even then it’s a bit of a stretch, much like your opinion on Rangers penalty today. If that’s given against you I guarantee you are mental
It’s not about having faith in my team it’s that I don’t have is faith in VAR based on some of the mental decisions I’ve seen in these games this season.

Couldn’t give a f**k who referees there will be controversy regardless as they are all generally awful however us having CCV, Hatate and McGregor back is a major boost and should help us

Better performance until we started making subs in the 70th minute.
Kyogo and Kuhn both looked good and what a difference when we actually look for Kyogo.

Absolute morons. I hope the guy is ok. However I'm not sure the Hibs fans would applauded Lundstram off on a stretcher had that idiot connected as intended with his disgraceful lunge.
But he wasn’t stretchered off, Boyle was.

Players badgering the ref isn't unique to Rangers/Goldson, it happens in most games. It's not something that I like but it is commonplace in fitba.
^^Must not criticise Sevco

We’ll agree to disagree Jinky.
I don’t think it has a place in the game.
I’m not lowering myself to insulting you personally btw.
Keep the insults coming if it makes you happy. I’ve built up a thick skin over the years.
No one here is saying it does have a place in the game though are they? I genuinely haven’t a clue as to how you draw that conclusion from what has been posted in these past few pages. You have jumped into this two footed without reading the replies and made continually reckless suggestions

All about opinions Gannonball.
You have your views and I have mines.
You’ll never convince me that terrorist songs and banners have a place on our game though.
Lets leave it at that.
He wasn’t trying to convince you of that, it wasn’t even the point being discussed.
And your opinion is largely based on what you can either make up or what movie you have watched recently.

Crowds make fights and for every sport or entertainment show, Saudi is the absolute drizzling shits.
Can make a classic fight feel dull with the lack of atmosphere.
Agreed, the atmosphere is non-existent.

No faux bravado mate. I’ve never been in that position as Falkirk fans don’t support terrorist groups thankfully.
And no need to get personal with the insults. Good night.
Then you really should have left this discussion alone then. You are asking questions about why fans aren’t forcibly removing banners from other fans who are a few hundred in size and passionate about their right to protest. (This isn’t me saying they have such a right but they believe they do which is the important factor) How do you think that plays out in the real world?
I’ll tell you, it plays out with fans rioting, mass brawls and lots of people including children getting needlessly hurt or worse. That’s what you are advocating for, it’s stupid, reckless and dangerous.
Leave the policing to the police and leave the fantasy for the movies.

Pretty sure I just gave you my opinion, not sure why you need me to repeat it.
Just because several incidents may be looked at as clear and obvious errors it doesn’t mean that mistakes still aren’t made does it?
