  1. I don't know, they did they same last year with the final game. They were comfortably mid table yet parked the bus. Can't really see any other than a Falkirk win by a few goals.
  2. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68644141 It was on the main page after the game, still is.
  3. The length of the grass didn't help, wonder if it'll be the same this time.
  4. We had a game off on the 2nd but Hamilton played QoTS.
  5. Is the current Hamilton run (from being top in December with a game in hand) to now 2nd and 16 points behind, worse than our crash in 2021 against Partick? We managed 1 point from 18 when we threw it away, finishing 8 points behind. I can't seem to find a website that allows you to scroll through the league week by week.
  6. Yeah, Cray Valley Paper Mills is one, albeit 8th tier. They did play in the FA cup this year and drew against a decent team IIRC. Pretty sure there is more.
  7. Pretty sure there is some still in the lower English leagues.
  8. Did anyone else notice Jordan Allan's reaction to Shanley coming on for McIver? Threw his bib away then went up the tunnel looking far from happy. He returned maybe 10-15 min later.
  9. When was the 23 game unbeaten record? I've had a look but can't see when it was.
  10. I thought OMG... It's his teeth!!! Some dental bill if it was.
  11. As usual, Bonnyrigg (as do many other smaller teams) believe that they will get the armchair fans into the ground and finally get the 'potential fanbase' through the gates. I also think they believe that there is a good chance they'll cause an upset. In reality, they'll get a handful more fans and end up handing Falkirk the 1500+ left over tickets.
  12. Yeah, don't get it. Really no previous animosity between the fans. I certainly can't remember any in the last 30yrs. It reminded me of the Spartans game.
  13. I don't think we have been good from about the QOTS match, yet we are grinding out wins and the draw against Hamilton. Even at Kelty Hearts (a game that is almost immediately forgettable despite the score line), we weren't particularly good. Oliver looked like he didn't get the memo that we've changed style/tactics from last season and that made him not ineffective but noticeably poor (compared to Nesbitt). Henderson didn't play great and I think he is one of the best improved players from last season (IMO), seemed to stop/start and where he usually is quite commanding in midfield, def wasn't this game. At the end of the day, it was a 'can't lose game' and we didn't. Still top and we weren't the first to blink, lets see how the next quarter shapes up.
  14. Stirlingshire was/is a huge area and goes right over to Loch Lomond. I think Dumbarton was in Stirlingshire (and maybe still is).
  15. The good thing is that all other games are off for flooded pitches rather than for crowd safety issues. If one goes off for crowd safety then that sets the president. I think the game will go ahead.
  16. If the game is off, it'll be a Police Scotland decision. I'm not 100% the game will go ahead.
  17. This has a dull 0-0 written all over it. Tbh, no idea what to expect.
  18. I think a comfortable Falkirk win, just can't see us dropping points in this one. They didn't beat us last year and they won't today. 3-0 Morrison, Henderson and McIver. Although will take 1-0.
  19. Every time it's going well, we run the risk of blowing it all! I think I'm more worried about this game than Stirling. Falkirk win but it might be harder than expected.
  20. Should be a comfortable win, they don't look great tbh. However, it isn't beyond us to self destruct and lose this!! An over ambitious 4-0 win to us and continuing our great start, building up to QoS and eventually Hamilton at home. (Where we throw it all away and end up playing catch up for the rest of the season).
  21. Try not to park there, real shit to get out after the game.
  22. It seemed a fairly obvious handball by an Albion player... certainly where i was sitting!
  23. Have to give Stirling credit, at least they tried to play football unlike Annan! Really enjoyed the game, great save in the first half by Low. Can't see Hogarth getting the nod whilst Low is in great form.
