At Broadwood, we suffered in the same way with many managers, excluding, curiously, Mr Duffy. A board member claimed we had 'the finest young manager in the country' but prior to his installation at Kelty, I believe BF would pace the floor during the night, unable to find a way to change things as he only had 2 nights a week to change things. I think most managers have a shelf life. Some at our level, can defer that decline but even pretty effective operators including McCall, D Campbell, Lambie and maybe Duffy run out of road. The dichotomy for the club is to change the squad OR the manager.

All about momentum I think. Airdrie have some negative energy they'll want to shake off. Loons and Son will hope good results on Tues kick starts their run in. East Fife against us looked too good to get sucked in. Clyde looked so fragile at home to EF, but showed some spirit v Montrose. Away to Peterhead, we looked unusually well organised. So many variables...form, injuries, suspensions and, of course, luck.

Interesting to look at the table. We've had wins against 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th but lost to 9th, 6th and murdered by 7th twice. Really need to aim for top 5!

I hope we can feed off the confidence that was tangible last night. I was delighted to see the newbies and the loanees really join in the goal celebrations...made me think they feel part of something. Long day for the guys: leaving Broadwood just after lunch and not returning till way after midnight.

Lovely evening. Brilliant result. Two stunning goals with class assists. Energy from these young bucks was a joy to watch. EF might be flat after being pumped by Montrose too.

I'm sure our commentators is just as bad, but I do like it when they get Clyde player's names wrong. McNuff is playing and MacGlinchley was playing on Saturday.

Surprised to see both teams agreeing to 7 a-side, according to Goalshiter

Someone said when the fixtures were announced that you'd hope Lang and DGW would avoid injury. Don't know if anyone would anticipate both being out after only 3 games.

My nomination for Clyde Man of the Match is Montrose keeper Annie Lennox. Better keep to the the singing I think.

Probably a pointed gained bit could have stolen all 3 if DGW hadn't tried to walk the ball into the net at the end.

Montrose an interesting blend. Not short of skill, have a decent system and full of units willing to leave the boot in.
